I have the exact opposide: Flat iMac + Samsung Flat Screen (yes, I have a dual screen computer) with Mac OS X Lion and HDD.

I used to have a book of it; never looked in it.

New Topic: Doryuuzu (picked one random Pokémon from your signature).

LotR: I read a bit of the books, but I've watched the movies over and over and over. I'm in the middle of Return of the King ATM.

Doryuuzu/Excadrill is amazing. He not only looks cool, but he is a force of nature in a sandstorm. Fastest Pokemon in the entire game, and with Swords Dance, Rock Slide, and a STAB Earthquake...

New topic: Movies vs Books.

The movies have nice eye candy, but I prefer books. They have more depth. I hate it when the movie of the book is a complete opposite or nothing like the book, example, Ella Enchanted and How to Train Your Dragon.
New Topic: HARRY POTTER and the Movie Everyone Already Saw.

Yes, the books have more depth. But that also means that they are difficult to understand. When I tried reading the books, they just weren't as gripping as the movies. I would like to read them now that I'm more mature, but I can never seem to find them at the library. One of my favorite things to do in life is sit back, eat something good, and listen to Howard Shore's brilliant soundtrack for the LotR trilogy. Watching it is just an added bonus. There are so many moments in the movie that simply can't be told in the books as well, like one of my favorite scenes, the one where Pippin sings "All Shall Fade" while Faramir goes on his suicide mission. You just can't get the same effect from words as you can with the music and the visuals. I'm not a biased movie-goer by any means (the Percy Jackson movie was far worse than the book), but the LotR movies are quite possibly the greatest movies ever made, even if they don't match up to the scale of the books.

Wow. I'm more eloquent than I thought. Anyways...

That movie was leagues better than the book. They managed to skip many of the parts in the book that were boring and unnecessary and expanded the parts in the book that should have been much better. For example, the battle with Voldemort. In the book, Harry monologues about how Voldemort can't beat him with the Elder Wand because he is the true master of it for four pages. Then they fire two spells and it's over. In the movie they go right into the battle, Harry duels Voldemort for about five minutes, and finally kills him in a quite climactic way. The seventh book was simply awful. The seventh movie (both parts) were great. Definitely up there with Return of the Jedi and Return of the King as one of my favorite movies.

New topic: Rain vs Sun

The 7th book was probably the worst, though there were some parts of it I really liked. For instance, in the book, Neville, the nobody, the kid who was ignored for the whole series, breaks out of a Full Body-Bind Curse (which he couldn't do in the first book), takes off the burning Sorting Hat, out of which he brings out the sword of Gryffindor and single-handedly destroys Nagini. In the movie, he gave a lame speech, then ten minutes later slays Nagini, and then the camera immediatley switches back to Harry.

Sun, I guess. But not when it's REALLY sunny, like the STUPID HEAT WAVE.

New Topic: 3DS vs. NGP.

You mean, PSVita, instead of NGP?
That fight is just childish, it's better to accept both pro's and con's.

Actually, I'm doing the same thing, but I do that through "self-service", while you're using SignAvatar.

My idea went wrong: Upgrading an incompatible application in an up-to-date Forum software (before it's available to new customers).
