"Legends of the Fallenstar" Chapter 21 Released

"Legends of the Fallenstar" Exclusive interviews!

(Late to the party? Yeah, I know.)

I will just say that Issue 16 is probably one of the best thing I have read on this wiki along with Ghost Jam pie proposal and the Mario (Species) article.

I only have two nitpicks concerning this comic:

1- The Christmas Special: Sorry, but it was just... boring. And it didn't really help progress the story in any way.

2: Some of the "special effects" can look pretty... fugly at time. IMO, the comic would be better without them.

Otherwise, t'is a great comic. Keep up the good work!

Pah, if you really hate it that much, it might get changed when if and when I start revising comics... Since some of the chapters really do need some changes to bring them up to spec.

And Naoto Oshima is cool... Even though his games keep failing.

Formerly of Sega, now working at Artoon of Blue Dragon and Yoshi's Island DS fame. And I really would like a more in-depth analysis of why you don't like the GIMP effects, and which of the various effects used you don't like, which you do like, and your reasons for liking/not liking them. I understand that you are not a comic maker though, so I won't ask you for tips on how to improve the SFX :P

I have to admit Uniju has more talent than me in the graphics area... And he has enough patienence to make good fight scenes, something I lack.

He WORKED at Sega, but he left and founded Artoon. Supposedly he was the guy who designed Sonic the Hedgehog.

Supposedly? He designed Sonic, and probably other characters and robots in the first Sonic game aswell. He was also a character designer on Knuckles Chaotix, designed NiGHTs (The character), and directed Sonic CD and NiGHTs (The game). A very big influence on Sonic Team... But then he made the mistake of disagreeing with Yuji Naka on where the Sonic series should go after Sonic Adventure, and left.

Ahem, I never really liked those "Blurr" effects, using them once and twice to show the violence of an attack is OK, however, sometimes you overuse those and it really distract from the rest of the comic. Chapter 12 is a good example of badly used special effects.

I like the Simulator, plus the "girl's voice". This is turning out to be one of the greatest comics EVAR. Easy-to-follow, hilarious, and just plain EPIC.

[19:06] <ChaosNinji> For one, its more mature than other comics (BIG PLUS)...

[19:06] <ChaosNinji> And it also incorporates the ideas that made other comics so sucsessful (tSC, tLA...)

[19:06] <Snack> And what is your favorite chapter?

[19:07] <ChaosNinji> I'd have to say the one where Uniju was defeated by Crash.

Unfortunatly, it probably won't. With the pace of the story the comic will easily go over 50 chapters, and with the pace I release chapters at, who knows when the comic will get to #50. When are you leaving anyway?

No I'm not. The comic is at #21 already, and the vast majority of the story is still left to tell.
 
...I'm late, but, this topic is almost DEAD, so I'm gonna post.

Keep up the good work, Snack! It makes me feel bad about my comics. :(
