I don't want to sound grim here, but on a forum about Mario, what has more "worth" then a game? Besides, just because something is done for an objective other then acquirement of further subjective "worth", why does it mean that I should abandon my views? If you're going to lock it because you don't think it's possible to play the game "fairly" without cheating, OK, lock it. Don't lock it because it started an argument.
 
Locking the thread would be dumb. Just let Uniju complain and let the game continue.

The post would still be relevant at that point, so it would not be considered spam.
 
We need to do something about that "The last post from your IP was less than 15 seconds ago" thing. This board is too active for such a long wait just to post again.

Yeah, that.

The worst thing about that is that even though it gives you an error message it still counts it as a "post" so you have to wait another 15 seconds. It's a vicious cycle of impatience.
 
I agree. And if you go back, and re-post it you will egt a message saying you already posted that, but when you look at the topic, the post is not there.... This sucks
 
I know. It's especially annoying in Forum Games, where all you do is type a number and post.

BTW, why didn't you guys support this when I suggested it? :P

I did oppose at the time, but Uniju has a legitimate reason this time. Ralph's rationale was "pain in the ass".

He is trying to say that this is biased, and that when Ralph proposed it, it was rejected becuse it was Ralph, which is being biased
 
would it be possible for Steve to get rid of the "your ip posted in less than 15 seconds" message?

even if it would stop spam, all of the spam ive ever seen here was just one big post about viagra, and plus, its hindering other people like me and uniju, i think
 
I'll message him about it tomorrow. Hopefully he'll be more helpful with this than he was over giving mods the ability to edit post counts. :|
 
This is really pissing me off,

Pretty much 1/4 times (at random periods of the day) I click anything that takes me to a different page on the forums, boards, index, topic etc, I get an error message. It says it cannot load the page and all that bs. It might be my shitty internet, but I'm not sure. Anyone else have this problem?
