Marioguy1 has been talking about this and I agree with him. There should be a child board in forum games for Mafia and Werewolf games. That way, the old lounges won't clog the board and the mafia games won't have to be stickied.

Considering I originally proposed this in the forum games board, I agree with him. With the growing number of mafia games they are clogging up the forum games board because each has to have two thread stickied. I think a mafia board should be made a sub-board of that and all active mafia games will be stickied, the inactive ones will remain in that board for all eternity (until they go to Topic Storage).

Sorry, I knew someone else thought of it, but I wasn't sure who.

Maybe we should have a filter sort of thing where you can choose who's posts appear in the new replies section, and to what threads.

I'd like some sort of name change tracker. I know there's a thread for people to string their name changes, but it gets annoying to have to look through it or look through someone's posts when I suddenly don't know who the heck they are anymore.

OK, I'm back with a question. Is that mafia sub-board on its way? I was just looking at the forum games board and there are currently six topics relating to mafia, five of which are taking up space on the stickied topics area. I know it will take under five minutes to make the board so is anyone going to do it? I'm sure all of the mods support it, it's a great idea. So...is it happening?

What possible reason could anyone have for opposing?

I just had a look at the Games forum and the question that instantly came to my mind was: What possible reason could anyone have for not supporting? oô

Just look at the mess in that forum. There are currently eleven stickied topics. To remind you: The purpose of a stickied topic is to give the users a quick overview of the situation in that board. A neatly organized board usually has only a few of them, the most significant ones being the sub-forum rules and perhaps news or something. However, having eleven of them at once defeats the purpose of it. Once the World War II game starts, there will be twelve! That's overkill! Imagine I take a text marker to highlight the most important passages of a text and I mark half of the text with it. The markings will be worthless afterwards.

So to sum it up, I don't participate in Mafia games, but even I noticed that the games forum looks like a chaotic mess. So please, reopen the discussions and give those people a sub-forum for their Mafia games before they clutter up the whole place. There will be no damage done by it, it improves organization, the mafia people are happy because finding their favorite game will be easier, and I will be happy because... I don't know. I don't really gain anything from it.

The whole cluster occupies more than half of my screen. There are currently four Mafia topics in there. Moving them to a sub-forum will reduce the number of stickied threads to 7. It may not seem like much, but 11 and 7 can be a huge difference, especially when we're talking about stickies.

I will probably be ignored, but thanks for reading anyway.

I wholeheartedly agree with Edo.

Not to mention this would remove the need for begging a mod to sticky threads.
