Review: Anyways, it lacked motivation and description... again. Overall the story was bland, dumb, and dark in a bad way. The tense in this chapter was wrong, and it stood out:

"I knew things would get harder, and harder, and harder.
But we were a good team."

Basically you're stating here that your team was good back then, but not anymore. And to top it off, it was rather random, will that be explained? And I thought the stones were scattered throughout certain continents, and last time I checked, the Atlantic Ocean wasn't a continent.

Actually, that is grammatically correct. It's not supposed to say "we are a good team" or "we was a good team" or "we is a good team". I suppose you could say that "we made a good team" but were works just as well. You just read it wrong.
