Firing Green Shells backward is the same as firing Bananas forward, except you do it backwards of course.

The only things you can't fire backward are stuff like Lightning Bolts, Spiny Shells, Bullet Bills, etc.

Even with that, I still find using the Bullet Bill very boring to use. I mean, going way off the map at high top speeds is fun.
