The Official AH NEE MAY Topic

Ok

Sora no Woto's ending was disappointing as hell.

The romans came to kill everyone and were portrayed as the good guys, than the helvetians came to kill eveyrone and were portrayed as the bad guys, than the fortress maidens came to kill everyone and were portrayed as the good guys, than the roman and the helvetian got married and the fortress maidens played a song for them.

And than it ended, leaving absolutely none of the back story that I and everyone else watched had been expecting. Except for Noël's, but that one sucked.

I hate generally don't care for animay and I still know that's poopy writing.

People who say they hate anime are just trying to look cool. 'anime' is such a broad form of media that just generalizing and saying you hate it all is absolutely retarded.

Well Blue Monday, some people just hate Japanese people and everything they have ever made I guess.
NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT THAT EH WSBM

-_-

I began watching Azumanga Daioh recently. I'm only two episodes in, but I'm so far not all that impressed.

Azumanga Daioh is pretty disappointing when you consider the kind of hype it gets.

Let's talk about Heroman.

Plenty of times I've seen an anime in which the opening animation was simply a collection of clips from the show itself, but until now I've never seen an anime where the opening animation is a collection of clips from other shows.

What I'm saying is, even for a parody Heroman looks unoriginal as hell, and... And I don't think it's meant to be a parody. I mean, no one told me it was a parody, and it's not very funny. I can't well link you to the opening animation itself because the link will probably be down pretty quickly because everyone is being a bitch about copyrights, but go find it. If I didn't know any better I'd have figured it was some Mecha anime montage from Nico Nico Douga or something.

That is, with the addition of a few good 'ol American flags in the background.

I don't think it's fair to generalize like that considering how large the anime medium is. Just watch Cowboy Bebop or Gurren Lagann and see for yourself that anime can also be an entertaining work of visual art.

I don't really like anime, since most of the anime I've seen tries too hard to be funny.
You watch weird anime.
I think all mainstream anime switched over to not trying hard enough about ten years ago.
