Kirby's returning to dreamland

I found the game tricky at times, though. I heard Extra Mode was challenging, though I played only a little of it.

This Extra Mode had better not be like Donkey Kong Country Returns's Mirror Mode.

Extra Mode is just like regular mode, but with your HP halved and bosses having different attack patterns so far for me

At least you can die in this game.

Why do people think the ability to die adds to the difficulty to the game?

Because removing the ability to die detracts from the difficulty of the game.

Actually, I found Kirby's Epic Yarn tricky to 100% with, which is the real challenge.

Not much, actually. Just unlocking an item challenge room (I believe) and making Magolor talk about how he got his ship. And yes, there are spheres in Extra.

But I understand if there's no Wheel ability for multiplayer. I mean, the Snow Ball super ability is bad enough when your friend gets it (I have to get run over in order for her to execute it properly). Wheel, I can just leave my friends all behind.

EXACTLY!

In fact... Everyone watch this video:

This one, too, since it's about Kirby and it also addresses the death/difficulty thing again:

Guys, what do you think is the best ability for the Arena? Hammer is a classic, I guess, but Tornado is very good since it has so much invincibility frames, so you can hit the bosses silly while they can't attack you. The only downside is the ending lag and the controls.

Well, Idk since I didn't get KRtD yet, but I suggest Hammer (Ya know that up move that shoots out flames and kills bosses in seconds) or Suplex.

Even though I loved Suplex, the addition of Spear, Water, and Ninja's awesome design change makes up for it.

Also, did anyone else playing the game caught a Super Mario Bros. 2-like reference? Or the Kuribo's Shoe thing?

I often found Bomb to be an effective ability when I played Kirby Super Star Ultra. It sure got me through the first half of The True Arena.

I don't know about this game though.

In kirby Super Star, I found Yo-Yo quite useful... But maybe you should just expirement, find what you think is the best.

What I like about Bomb is that it's a long range ability. You lose the risk of getting hurt, like you would with close combat abilities, such as Hammer. But either way, experiment with each ability, and use the one that you find to be the most useful.

I think Whip is long-ranged and it does a decent amount of damage... just like Yo-yo.

Bomb ability is essentially the same thing (as in previous games), except you can use dash + 1 to execute a very long ranged attack. Kirby bowls the bombs in this attack.

After playing through this game, Spear is still my favorite ability. I love its long range. Ninja also has great long range too, and it's my second favorite ability still.
