I was probably in a depressing mood that day or something. Torture is a bit far. We should still have the right to eat them or something.

Only kill them if it serves a practical or useful purpose

Though hunting deer is useful sometimes because they can overpopulate, which would then lead to the overpopulation of wolves and coyotes which is a bit of a nuisance sometimes.

If deer populations rise, then naturally their predator populations will rise, which leads to the decrease in deer populations which decreases predator populations which increases deer populations and

It's a cycle.

Or at least my biology teacher last year said that.
