Ending this now! Here were the speeds of each of the vehicles:

The Dolphin~Pikmin:40 minutes
Starship Mario~Mario:1 hour
Airship~Mario:20 minutes
Halberd~Kirby:1 hour and 20 minutes
Samus's Spaceship~Metroid:10 minutes

And here is the people who hit an asteroid, or an enemy ship. If you didn't respond, you will automatically get 2.5 hours added on

Asteroid-20 minutes:
Smasher
Quizmo
BBY
Lily
Paper Yoshi

Enemy Ship-40 minutes:
Pyro

People Who Didn't Respond-2 hours and 30 minutes:

Also, sorry I forgot to tell you this, but in question 3 you don't have to solve for y, only x, so y won't be counted against you if you did it.
 
I suck at x and y problems. I think got 30 minutes added, because I think that 2 and 3 are wrong, and that 1, 4, and 5 are right.

I'm good at times tables. Very good.
 
Pfft. Where's the fun in doing a math problem if you only solve for one of the variables?
 
I think you can solve for both if you want, it's just only x is required.

You started at -30. The first challenge, you rode the ship that gave 10 minutes, leaving you at -20. The next challenge, you got none wrong, but everyone automatically gets 10 minutes, just for completing the challenge, leaving you at -10
