With the game almost over, I just want to check over something again. How should new series nominati

The first match of Round 3 is over. Bowser defeats Link by 4 votes as he becomes the first of the eventual Top 12.

Next up we have another match like the previous one that's possible to see in Smash Bros. though this one is specifcally between 2 newcomers from Brawl. We have King Dedede of the Kirby series up against Ike of Fire Emblem (King Dedede beat Mona last round, while Ike triumphed over Katz in OT)

Dedede's voice was pretty much the only thing 4kids did right. With the possible exception of replacing the mediocre voice actors from the Dreamcast era Sonic games.

I actually kinda liked the Sonic voice actors in Dreamcast era. Sure they were full of narm in the first Sonic Adventure, but I thought they did well enough in SA2 at least. I'm not one to be overzealous about it like "SEGA BRING BACK RYAN NOW!!!!" because yeah they had their flaws too (Especially in Sonic Heroes... albeit I blame that more on the writing more so then the voice actors). But despite it I thought they fit the characters the most.

But meh, now I'm getting off-topic from the matchup. The Sonic series wasn't nominated into the game after all.

It probably will in the next game though. There will be some good amount of room despite 10 of the series from this game returning. As there will be room for 14 more series. Plus a system will be set in place so the chances of a Joke series like the Sultans or unpopular ones like the Sports ones are less likely to get in.
