The fact that you get the news before me saddens me, Im the one running the nerd website. Oh well eithet way Im glad.

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

Real talk now. I've been thinking about this. I personally think DBZ should have ended with the Cell Games (ironic, since I was just celebrating the fact that we're getting the Kai Buu saga). Think about it, the Cell Games ended everything nicely. Goku passed on his legacy to Gohan who would become the defender of the Earth, Vegeta gave up his fighting and settled down, and the the rest of the heroes essentially retired. Don't get me wrong, I like Buu saga, but at times it can be sloppy, lazy, and just downright ridiculous. Not to mention Buu is basically a humorous retread of Cell and everyone except the Saiyans became useless (Piccolo didn't even get one fight). Even then, the Saiyans had to rely on fusion.

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

fusion was really dumb too, didnt like much of buu saga aside from majin vegeta, videl, mystic gohan, and maybe some dialogue here and there.

I guess ssj3 was also neat but kinda odd at the same time.

So were the Saiyan and Android sagas, some/parts of the movies, and all of GT.

That is, unless you count the part where he tried to kill Babidi.

Which he didn't even do for some reason.

Seriously, Babidi is very feeble and you could've just ended it there. You would still have Buu to deal with, but Mr. Satan took care of that.

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

True, but Piccolo ended up getting interrupted by Majin Buu's regeneration when he was about to finish Babidi off.

Regeneration? Majin Buu's a Timelord?!

Ah, been awhile since I've watched that part. Still, it would've been cool to see Piccolo actually get involved in the fighting and actually be useful in said fights, and not just fodder for Buu.

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

Not for a long time. Cell hasn't even showed up yet though.

Soon though. Very soon.

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

Spopovich vs Videl was brutal, the entire world tournament arc was epic, but they stopped for buu.

eh it was kinda bullcrap but again videl hasnt had intense training like the other z warriors.

Honestly though the buu saga has its up sides, the fight between goku and majin vegeta was pretty awesome, ssj 3 scene was pretty intense, mystic gohan was pretty badass, and then we have vegito.

honestly though it was still the weakest in its anime form.

Vegito is stronger in the manga?

I really have no idea, as surprisingly enough, i have yet to read the manga.

The only thing i know that vegito is much stronger then gogeta.

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

No. He's saying that the Buu saga itself was the weakest saga in the anime.

Technically, Gogeta is stronger since he has been seen as a Super Saiyan 4 and Vegito hasn't. Not to mention that the potaras are destroyed so Vegito can never be created again. Wouldn't that technically make Gogeta stronger since he doesn't exist anymore?

Or you could argue that Vegito is canon and Gogeta isn't, so that would automatically make Vegito stronger since Gogeta would not exist.

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

Fusion Reborn has too many inconstancies with the show to be canon.

i guess vegito is stronger and actually canon, since i believe gt was officially considered to not be canon, right?

What do you mean by inconsistencies
In Fusion Reborn, both Goku and Vegeta are dead. The only time this happened was in the middle of the Buu saga. But that placement won't work because is Gohan is up and active. At this point, he was the Kai world.
