OK, what was the point of Mystic Gohan? He never did anything useful. Why would they spend all that time giving him a training arc if he didn't contribute anything in the end. Heck, he barely did anything in the movies, either!

So, part of my wishlist for the next movie is "Mystic Gohan actually does something". Although, if it is focused on Vegeta, it probably won't happen.

It's probably
a) a former villain
b) some new villain who's stronger than Beers

So much for this being a story-focused movie. It sounds like it'll be mostly fighting.

While I enjoyed Battle of Gods, it was a little lacking on the action side.

Broly's probably still alive somewhere out there, and if it's based on a could-have-been manga story, then it's probably a canon character.

It's always so cool when you get to see the new openings. Makes you feel like it's progressing.

Anyway, calling it now, Cell is going to be the new I-am-hilarious-and-you-will-quote-everything-I-say guy.

OK, random question, are there any Dragonball Z games that AREN'T pure fighting games or weird...card battle (?) RPGs? It would be really cool if there was a single player-focused Dragonball Z game, like some sort of beat em up, but it seems like most DBZ games are just pure 2-player fighting games.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just it would be really cool if they had a single player mode that had more than just "refight the 1 on 1 battles that take place in the series using the fighting engine". One that felt like you were actually part of the show.

I realised Toriyama can be really mean-spirited with his characters. I mean, Yamcha becomes a punchline throughout all of DBZ, not even getting a good moment, Krillin becomes a joke especially in the movies for no real reason, Bulma, Chi-Chi and Videl start off extremely unlikeable and don't reallly change, and the less said of Buu Saga Gohan, the better.

At least they still appear.

Toriyama forgot that Launch existed and that's why she doesn't show up in DBZ despite being a supporting character in Dragon Ball.

If they keep this up, it's going to be my favourite season by far. Abridged!Cell really works in this episode. I saw a comment somewhere saying he's probably schizophrenic because of all the different DNA and personalities he has inside of him, and it explains his personality perfectly.

I'm really looking forward to the next episodes!
