I has BT3 now. It's so addictive. My mom had to force me away from the T.V.

The game becomes meaningless once you 100% Dragon History Mode ):

Especially since online play (when you can find someone to play with) sucks terribly.

There's always the joy in beating up on Krillin or Saibaman

Too easy. It's more fun to beat the crap out of Hirudegarn (when not playing as him, of course).

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

Super 17's a bitch at times. Which reminds me. I was playing as him and I accidently created a huge explosion that transformed the place into the Ruined Earth. How didi I do this?!

Certain moves can destroy the planet (you can do the same thing on Namek). The only thing I hate about Super 17 is that he can only charge up Ki by absorbing energy, and it can be hard to get the timing right.

But of course when the cpu does it, it has no problem. Also, I'm about to change the poll.

EDIT: the poll has been changed

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

I bumped this because I have a thought that is bugging me. If you go by the anime, Tao was still active and evil during the Cell saga. During either Super Buu's Human Extinction Attack or Kid Buu planet burst, he would've died. Later, Dende asks Porunga to bring all the good people of Earth back to life. That would mean that Tao was not revived. Yet he appears in Dragon Ball Online, which is directly worked on by Akira Toriyama and can be considered canon. So, what happened?

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

I always call Frieza's race, "Friezans"

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

Dragon Ball Online?

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

I really need an english version of that just so I can become a super saiyan

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

It sucks that there are no plans to release here in America. Also, Toriyama stated that after Dragon ball Online, he's done with the Dragon Ball Universe.

EDIT: New poll

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

Gokule is the most hilarious fusion.

but Hercule is more funny tho.

I think he had a move where he accidentally drops one of his game boy bombs and flies toward the opponent.

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

Just thought I'd post this. Below is what DBZ movies I consider canon and not.

Dead Zone is canon. it obviously takes place before the start of DBZ, but after DB.

The World's Strongest is not canon. The only logical place for it to take place is the three year wait for the android. However, by this time, Goku would be able to go Super Saiyan, yet he doesn't use it. There's also strain on his body when he uses the Kaio-ken times 4, and he wears King Kai's symbol.

The Tree of Might is not canon. Same thing above with Super Saiyan. Gohan should know Icarus by this point (Garlic Jr. saga), yet he doesn't know him in this movie.

Lord Slug is not canon. Once again, Goku should have Super Saiyan by this point. Also, King kai is shocked by the False Super Saiyan form, thinking it's the true super saiyan form. If it takes place during the three year wait, he should know what a Super Saiyan looks like.

Cooler's Revenge is canon. It clearly takes place during the three year wait and Goku uses the Super Saiyan form.

Return of Cooler is not canon. It must take place after Dende became guardian of Earth. By this time, Gohan could go Super saiyan, which he doesn't do. Also, Gohan is much shorter here and has long hair.

Super Android 13 is not canon. Same problems as above. Also, Trunks and Vegeta don't go beyond Super Saiyan.

Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan is canon. It clearly takes place during the ten day wait for the cell games and fits in the timeline nicely.

Bojack Unbound is canon. It fits in the timeline after Cell's defeat.

Broly: Second Coming is not canon. It takes place before the World Tournament since Gohan is friends with Videl and Goku is dead. But, Videl didn't know about the dragon balls until Majin Buu was released. By this time, Goku would be active again and Gohan would be with the Kais. Also, why does Shenron not come out?

Bio-Broly is not canon. There is no clear place it can be. Also, it sucks.

Fusion Reborn is canon. While it is very hard to place in the timeline, it kicks so much ass it doesn't matter.

Wrath of the Dragon is canon. It clearly takes place after Kid Buu's death.

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

Hey GP.

What genre would DBZ fit the most other than fighting?

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

Well, Dragon Ball would be comedy. Dragon ball Z would be an action series. GT would be trash.

more as in games GP.

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

Oh. Well, there are DBZ RPGs. Most of the games I know are fighting.

Re: The Official Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai Thread

I believe the RPG ones would be the Legacy of Goku trilogy on GBA (though the third's called Buu's Fury), and there's a GT game that's a side-scrolling beat-em-up.
