Do you think I should be watching this anime? (Don't know if off topic)

So I have been recently been watching an anime called "Puella Magi Madoka Magica"

It's very good and the characters and plot are excellent.

I just have one teensey little problem with it...


I don't know if I should be watching it! ;n;

Can you guys help me?

It contains: Quite a bit of violence, a little blood.

However, some anime websites say it is a R-17, or 16+ because of "profanity" even though it barely has any! Others say it is a Significant (Teen) or 13+.

If it is an R-17, then compare it to other animes, such as Higurashi, which has a lot more gore and violence, as well as sexual themes.


Can you help me out? ;n; I've watched the whole anime already, but I don't know if it is age-appropriate, as I said before.

You shouldn't be watching it because it's a bad anime. The animation is shoddy and the story and characters are cliche.
 
If you enjoy it, continue to watch it. If "how inappropriate it is" is making you not enjoy it, stop watching it. Don't stop liking things because other people tell you they're bad. Simple as that.
