Animal Crossing: New Leaf

It's a duck, silly

You basically have to wait for just about everything to open up to you in the game, including the whole mayor thing.

Or you can just cheat the game clock but who does that

I remember I once accidentally turned my town back to 2012 when I was calibrating my time that was off by about a minute. I turned it back to 2013, one of my villagers had left, I had loads of weeds, that messy hair and some cockroaches had made residence in my house.

On the bright side, Shampoodle was built that same day, the weed-picking allowed me to get a free item, the villager who left I for some reason see a lot in my Main Street and the cockroaches were easily dealt with.

Ah, I see. I'll see how the game turns out.

Ugh
I cbf to play this these days...

I get the feeling one of the days I don't play this game, Gracie will show up and I'll get screwed out of an earlier shop upgrade.

Halloween in this game is actually kind of frightening. I'm looking for Jack, then I notice his figure, then I realize it's a villager and double back out of shock.

For some reason, he's usually in the last place I look, making me very susceptible to getting intercepted by villagers. I've lost a few hats because of this, so I avoid outside ones like the plague.

The fact that villagers can ruin my hat irritates me to no end.

One of them ruined my hero's cap due to a game of rock-paper-scissors. Such much frustration because that took me ages to find.

The games you play with them are just annoying. Rock-paper-scissors and that "look the same way" game are basically luck-based. Charades is the most "skill-based" of the games I've played, and even then it feels like a matter of making a lucky guess.

Now I know to either not play the game or stay inside my house on Halloween.
