You're supposed to talk to them at some point before they move, pretty sure the day they're in boxes works best.

I don't think it's guaranteed after that, but it's a good chance.

Just come to my town on her last day and talk to her.

She reminded me that she's moving out on Oct. 25th, which is this Saturday on my game. So I guess I'll see you then.
 
Rhonda said she was gonna move out on September 20, but I convinced her not to. Thank goodness.
 
I love Freya! She used to live in my old town, until she moved away without telling me. ;-;

EDIT: I recently started a new save file and I'm missing some fruits. If anyone have any spare peaches, pears or persimmons, I'd love to get them. I have a couple of perfect cherries if someone's interested.
 
Well, could I come over to your town this time? I just want to have one last chat with Molly.

As for when, well, I'm not doing anything now.
