Hello everybody! Welcome to the 2nd edition of Vote to Win: Forum's Choice. It's been nearly a month since the first game came to an end. But now things get bigger not just in terms of Characters and Series counts. But at least one brand new twist that hasn't been used in a Vote to Win yet. For now though, we're back to the days of late October where Forum's Choice was just beginning and series were being nominated and we were setting up all 100 characters. The top 10 series from Last game return. But for the exception of some series they will have a brand new slate of Characters.
There's 14 spots left for grabs by brand new series that didn't get a chance to get representation in the last game (This means any series that didn't make it into the Top 10 in the last game aren't allowed to return). Now that people know more about Forum's Choice. it shouldn't be that hard to get 14 different users to say 14 different series. It's still first come, first served but if I suspect that you're nominating a series for the lulz I can reject your nomination right then and there. So a little bit of a tighter security.
The rules are the same as the last game. Absolutely no insulting a character or your vote will be revoked. If you get your vote revoked 3 times. You are hereby banned from voting for the rest of the game. Same thing with other voters. Also vote changes are allowed, but you have a limit of 3 Vote Changes per round.
There's nothing too new besides that the game is bigger (More characters, and thus naturally more rounds). For Round 1 at least we will go at a Fast pace of 3 matchups per round. Round 2 will go to 2 matchups per day. And Round 3 and on will probably go at 1 per day. This time I'll keep track of the statistics after every matchup so that at the end of the game I don't have to go through the hassle of going through the entire game thread in few days time. I also might post standings for at least some of the awards after each round is over.
If you've seen my posts on this before, I said there will be a BYE system in place for this game. For now it's a little early to announce it. As the most important thing is filling up our Series and Character count right now. Once all 24 series are known and all 120 characters are set up into matchups. I will start up instructions for the BYE once I say you guys can start sending me the PMs. I'll say how to do it in here. But if you saw a certain section in my Vote to Win guide you'll know how it works.
