by the way SM I have a quick question. would characters eliminated in the first two rounds of FCI be allowed to return in FCIII? for example, say MLP came in fourth, allowing one returning character. would Pinkie Pie be allowed to return since she was eliminated in round 2 of FCI? or would it have to be either Flim & Flam or someone completely new?

sorry if that doesn't make much sense. :p

Yes, Pinkie Pie would have a chance to return if FiM came in 4th. It would be different if Flim & Flam and Pinkie is in the same game but basically Pinkie can return if FiM drops down to that rank at the end of the game. However at it's current spot in 3rd, FiM will still be forced to go with 5 new characters. Along with Megaman and Kirby if nothing else breaks the Top 3 somehow.

But for example. It doesn't seem very likely that Mario will get in the Top 3 this game. Next game, Peach will be eligible to Return since she went out early. Which wasn't possible in this game because Mario got 2nd place in the Series Standings in the first game. Bowser Jr. may also have a chance of returning. Especially if Mario is in the range where they can possibly have 2 characters return.
