Viridi said:This game was a lot more fun before it was agreed upon that simple one-sentence replies would suffice to gain the throne.
Joey Tribbiani said:it may not be customary to create a massive eyesore of a story like javelin suggested, but can we at least try to put thought into the stories, instead of just saying "oh I get the throne for no reason"
seriously that really pissed me off, it breaks the rule of godmodding, and it's just plain lazy.
Viridi said:The Star Destroyer dropped out of hyperspace and was quickly followed by four like it. Two Interdictor Cruisers hyperspaced in right behind them and set up their interdictor fields immediately, preventing BowserJunior from escaping with the throne.
Grand Admiral Thrawn stared out into the battlefield and smiled. "Today we claim victory and prestige for the Empire. Pellaeon, is the Chimaera ready for battle?"
"She is fully at your command, Admiral."
"Then let's begin. Launch TIE squadrons one through four. Execute pincer maneuver on my mark... now."
As BowserJunior attempted to flee the planet with his prize, four Victory-class Star Destroyers dropped in nearly right on top of him, and before he had time to grab the coordinates from his nav computer the ship was being tractored into the Protector. Out of options, BowserJunior painted a graffiti portal on his ship and attempted to escape. Unfortunately, the portal's path through the spacetime continuum was still being distorted by the interdictor fields of the Interdictor Cruisers. BowserJunior abandoned ship, forced to leave the throne behind by the tiny confines of his escape pod. But he vowed to return again...
Aboard the Chimaera, Pellaeon looked up from his tactical display. "The Protector reports success, Admiral. The interdictor field prevented portal travel just as per your predictions."
Thrawn smiled thinly. "Excellent. Captain, prepare the convoy for the throne's transfer to Wayland. The Emperor will be greatly pleased by our success today."
