UBB 4: Nabber won!

Re: UBB 4: Week 2- Bop and Nabber nominated

whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

(only bop will get that)

Re: UBB 4: Week 2- Veto time!

Remember, get these in tommorow, me and my anomynus helpers are excited to judge.
Also, next week I am away but will have wifi so don't expect me to be super active on it that week.

Re: UBB 4: Week 2- Veto time!

Yeaaah I just sent it in because I had to watch a video on poetry for school but I totally failed.

Re: UBB 4: Week 2- Veto time!

I'm going to win. Mine shall be better than any of yours!

(Unless any of you are like pro poetry writers or any of that crap)

Re: UBB 4: Week 2- Veto time!

UPDATE: Judging has started on the 4/6 I have so far, however, if you havent sent in, its not too late but you will need to be quick.

Re: UBB 4: Week 2- Veto time!

You're giving our poems to them anonymously, correct?

I don't want the judge(s) to pick a favorite just because someone they like wrote it.

Re: UBB 4: Week 2- Veto time!

Ending this as I think we have decided.
I set up a stage, to make it almost dramatic, each veto player had written down their poem. Me and my judging crew took a seat. We each had notepads in front of us. 'Enter' I yelled. the first poet entered and read out their poem. We made notes and called in the next, then the next and so on and so forth. Afterwards we discussed each poem in detail before finally deciding a winner. We had all the poets stood across the stage. 'Poet number 3, step forwards.' I called. Toad85 stepped forth. 'After much deliberation, your poem has won. Congratulations, you now have the golden power of the veto.' Toad leaped up in joy and the others congratulated him.
TOAD HAS WON, VETO CEREMONY NEXT.

Re: UBB 4: Week 2- Toad85 won Veto

I was runner up though right?
XD

My poem was awesome.

Re: UBB 4: Week 2- Toad85 won Veto

For anyone who wants to read my poem:

It took me six minutes to jot down this rhyme.
Laziness like this should truly be a crime.
But though it sounds silly, although it sounds rough,
If the judges somehow like it, then it's good enough.

I didn't use Spell-check, excuse my misteaks,
I'm not good with meter, and my rhyming reeks.
My creativeness is stale as Michael Bay's
But if I get a chuckle, hey, I'm OK.

This took me six minutes. Really, just six.
If Hawthorne could read this, he'd be having fits.
There's nothing I loathe more than Lily's English class,
But maybe I can pull a win out of my ass.

So, yeah, this took six minutes to write.
Considering my talents, this contest isn't light.
I hope this was a better read than Twilight,
If it wasn't pouring, I'd go fly a kite,
But tornadoes give paper squares way too much height.
It was the rope in the Foyer with Mrs. White.
President Eisenhower's first name was Dwight.
I'm running out of words ending in "-ight",
But if I impress anyone, I'll be alright.

Exit stage right.

Re: UBB 4: Week 2- Toad85 won Veto

...you do realize there's more to a poem than rhyming, right?

Re: UBB 4: Week 2- Toad85 won Veto

Mine was so much better.

I liked yours though toad!

Re: UBB 4: Week 2- Toad85 won Veto

I had nothing to write about so I wrote some haikus.

I know nothing about poems. Hence why I wrote a whole poem about knowing nothing about poems.

Re: UBB 4: Week 2- Toad85 won Veto

'So' I said to Toad85, still shocked by his veto competition win. 'What will you be doing with the power?' I called again. 'Take Nabber off.' Nabber looked suprised but happy for a moment, but then quickly hid any emotion that he felt as others looked at him. 'Ok, Nabber, you are safe, Yoshiwaker please chose a replacement.'

Re: UBB 4: Week 2- Toad85 won Veto

This wasn't the first time Yoshiwaker has had to replace a nomination. He looked around the room. Who should he pick. He looked nervous. 'I pick Vinnie... I suppose.' Vinnie slowly nodded
'Alrighty then, Vinnie, Bop, pack your bags as one of you will be evicted. As for the rest of you, please relax, soon I will ask for your votes.' everyone nodded and left. Talking about the previous events.
Vinnie is up for eviction. I will send out a pm asking for your vote tommorow morning.
