The scary part is that "Most ****ed up movie scenes" was a suggested video.

I actually liked The Clone Wars film sure it was a bit cheesy at times but it set the way for one of the best things to happen to Star Wars: the Clone Wars series. Sure the original 2003 Clone Wars series was good but the 2008-2014 show was just awesome. Disclaimer: this is my opinion

the only good expanded universe things (imo) are the thrawn trilogy and (most of) the video games

although i've heard good things about karen traviss's republic commando series and the x-wing series

The Thrawn Trilogy and the X Wing series are the best series of novels IMO. The Jedi Academy trilogy was pretty good too. There's loads of great and not so great standalones but the series I've just mentioned are the most important and generally well received.

Or he could jst not appear. These movie sill follow the generation after Luke's. Obi Wan was Luke's guide, and Luke will be the guide for the younger ones. It wouldn't make sense to just shoehorn Obi-Wan in there.

The thing is, at the end of Episode VI, they killed off the important characters, e.g. Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kanobi... it doesn't seem right to make a sequel. There's nobody left.

Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia (Disney princess), Han Solo, Chewbacca, R2-D2 (who is said to be the main character), C-3PO
Myth busted :yoshi:

You know what I mean, the characters that were part of the main storyline, and added quite a lot of stuff to the series.

They'll have to add supporting characters for sure.

The question now comes down to whether or not the new characters will be any good.

I wonder how many new Jedi we're gonna get. I don't want this movie too overcrowded with Jedi. Keep them at two or three. I'd be fine with just one new Jedi and have him being instructed by Luke.
