Surprising Stuff in Pokemon

And Doduo/Dodrio can learn Fly...

Scrafty can learn most of the punch moves, but not Sucker Punch, which IMO, is a perfect move for Scrafty.
Considering the fact that he learns Dragon Dance, Drain Punch, and Ice Punch, I don't think Game Freak needs to buff him anymore.

I mean seriously a Moxie Scrafty with two Dragon Dances sweeps entire teams. Heck you could probably Baton Pass him an Agility and he'd kill everything. Drain Punch + Moxie is just OP.

That's why Moxie is banned

Did I say Moxie!? *facepalm x100*

I meant Moody, damn it

In HGSS, when you talk to your walking Pokemon, you can get the funniest and creepiest things.

"Scyther poked your belly"
"Typhlosion is having a fun time rolling around in the grass"
"Wailord jumped for joy"
"Muk suddenly hugged you"
"Gyarados is making a face like it's angry"
"Charmander is splashing around in the water"
"Shedinja turned its back to you defiantly"

How about grooming a Steelix or a Magnezone?

If you look at the picture of HG/SS Blackthorn Gym, the lava has the silhouette of a dragon-like body.

Pretty cool looking.

"Scyther poked your belly" More like "stabbed your belly"
"Typhlosion is having a fun time rolling around in the grass" Um, Typhlosion can learn Rollout
"Wailord jumped for joy" For joy? You mean earthquake
"Muk suddenly hugged you" Grimer hugs Dawn in the anime and she doesn't care about it!
"Gyarados is making a face like it's angry"

"Charmander is splashing around in the water" Wtf? I thought Charmander dies if the flame on it's tail lights off
"Shedinja turned its back to you defiantly" Um, I don't see anything wrong here

Explaining Shedinja turning his back at you, its multiple dex entries state that peering into the crack on its back steals one's spirit. In other words, when it turns its back at you, it's trying to get you to lose your spirit.

This is the sole reason Blackthorn Gym is my favorite in Johto
If it finds bad children who won't listen to their parents, it will spirit them away--or so it's said. It loves the crying of children.

It tugs on the hands of children to steal them away. It is whispered that any child who mistakes Drifloon for a balloon and holds on to it could wind up missing.

It is believed that this Pokémon will steal the spirit of anyone peering into its hollow body from its back.

This Pokémon was originally a pitiful plush doll that was thrown away. It seeks the child that disowned it.

These Pokémon arose from the spirits of people interred in graves in past ages. Each retains memories of its former life. Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human. Sometimes they look at it and cry.
What the fuck, Nintendo.

What the *bleep*, Nintendo.
I'm pretty sure the only time this happens in Pokemon Canon is in the Manga

Those are Pokédex entries from the games.

Well, actually the Spoink article is invalid, considering how a Spoink lost it, and it didn't die in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness

If I remember correctly, there was a Pokedex entry about Camerupt, that said every 1000 years it's volcano erupted or something. And yet, it learns Eruption and erupts every few minutes.
