Best videogame ending

Shooting the credits in Melee was kinda cool. My record was 85 I think.
 
The ending I also enjoyed waz Super Mario 64. That game is kickass!

I um kinda lieked SMG, SPM, and PM:TTYD! PM:TTYD i lieked the email from goombella, SMG just PWNSOME GRAPHICS, and SPM i like when bad guys turn good
 
Tales of Symphonia. Not the actual ending, it kinda sucked, but when Mithos got killed.
 
Super Paper Mario was epic.

Never played the series, but I'll take your word for it.
 
For Mario games, er, I have to say a toss up between either RPG or Paper Mario, although I'm leaning on Paper Mario since it's didn't have the "OMG BYE NAO GUYZ" that RPG had (with Geno just up and leaving without an actual goodbye and all)

For etc. games, I have to say the ending to Fatal Frame 2 with 100% completion, all the characters you meet the course of the game finally being able to be free from the darkness the villain made, and the cheesy goodbye between the Villain and the heroes made me reach for the Kleenex.
