I liked the bosses in the original more than the koopalings. The Koopalngs didn't feel as unique to me. I like them in general, just not their boss fights. Didn't stick out to me much.

I agree. Nintendo needs to use their creative part of their brains for Koopaling boss fights.

However, I did enjoy fighting them in Super Mario World.

Me too. It wasn't just the same fight.

Iggy and Larry moved on a platform and threw fireballs at you while you tried to knock them into the lava.

Morton and Roy constantly walked all over the room trying to squish you while you tried to jump on them.

Lemmy and Wendy's battles were like Whack-a-Mole somewhat.

I forget what Ludwig did, but it had something to do with fireballs.

Nintendo has to do something like this again.

He attacks you in a big room shooting fireballs at you. Whenever you stomp on him, he goes in his shell. After he goes on his shell, he jumps back and continues throwing fireballs at you.

I haven't actually fought the Koopalings in NSMBWii, because I fail at the fortress, but put the same order as in NSMBWii. I also talk to them in real life as imaginary friends.

I don't want the Koopalings in this game. I know people like them, but they seem to battle the same: stomp on head, when they retreat in shell, dode and repeat. They had their time to shine, anyways.

I would prefer they bring back old bosses (would be cool for some like Eyerok, King Bob-omb, King Boo, etc) or new bosses.

I'd rather the koopalings not be in anymore games.

They're so boring to fight and pretty much do the same thing.

Now if Nintendo made each fight unique, that'd be different, but at the current pace, I'll pass.

My drawings are very offended!!! :'( that's mean to them!!! I agree they battle just about the same. But Lemmy's is different, it's bouncy balls, not fireballs.

Man you're right thats a whole new ball game to the koopaling fights.

Yep. And it's odd how nearly all the quizzes say I'm most like Lemmy (some say Iggy) and he's my favorite.

Even though the koopalings aren't as awesome as their fanboys think they are, they do have the potential, it's just Nintendo focuses more on their physical appearances rather than their battle strategies. NSMBWii did sort of make their fights more unique, although that was mostly Kamek's doing. Maybe if they were put in Paper Mario or an entirely new RPG, they really would be more unique. I actually came up with some ideas before, but I forgot what they were.

Anyway, with Boom Boom having returned in Super Mario 3D Land, I'd like to see more of him.

along with Petey Piranha. Apart from the floor being made out of ice, Petey's fight in NSMBDS was a joke.

Regarding the good guys, I'm worried about Yoshi. Apart from Super Mario World and Super Mario 64DS, Yoshi hardly has any time in the spotlight in the mainstream games. He only made a small cameo in 64, he's only used for a few Shine Sprites and blue coins in Sunshine (and he can't even go into the water), he's absent in Galaxy, (even though there was a planet shaped like his head), I don't remember using him that much in Galaxy 2, and in NSMBWii, Yoshi's only available in a few levels and you can't take him with you to the next level.

I'm a girl!!!

If you're talking about how he said fanboys, it's just a term used for the huge fans.

I wouldn't mind if they put the Koopalings in a Paper Mario game, each one as a mini-boss for each chapter, that pops up like Jr. Troopa did. But that's a different subject.

I would also like to see Eyerok, King Boo and the others.

While I was disappointed with Yoshi only being in a few levels in NSMBW I'm not really fussed about him appearing in NSMB2 since it would change the gameplay so much, maybe they could make him available for all levels once you beat the game's main story or something.

Yeah but still it does specifically say boy.

The term fanboys usually applies to any huge fan, is what I meant. There really is no need to get angry at someone saying boy instead of girl. So let's just drop the subject.

The idea of having the Koopalings be the mid-world bosses and having different characters be the actual boss of each world is brilliant! Like having your cake and eating it, too!

That would be pretty awesome actually and if they could fit in Boom Boom somewhere as well then it would totally rock!

Am I the only one here who doesn't like Boom Boom that much?

Anyway, I also like Smashgoom's idea.
