MDP sez, "trolling is fun"

Da *bleep*, I thought we blacklisted this guy.

I can't believe I'm losing sleep over this little *bleep* (mind you, this is 4:25 AM here). Thank god, insomnia, but I could be doing something else... like improving some articles.

You do realize he'd probably get less of a kick if people stopped making statements like that, right.

Beside, you can find solace in the fact that out of the two involved, there's one person that wakes very early in the morning everyday to vandalize a wiki about a children's video game series... and it's not you ; ).

I know. Sigh....

The server somehow denied request to me, which is the reason I suddenly stopped.

Can someone hide Shitman's account due to their inappropriate username and edits.

It horrifies me how the vandal made over 50 edits before being blocked >_>

Also, someone please hide his edits.

I'm going to be watching the Mario page. Honestly, I don't see why it isn't semi-protected.

We need to stomp out these vandals.

I'm only wondering why there can't be a permanent solution to where this thread becomes unnecessary.

No such thing. We just have to deal with it. It's part of being a wiki after all.

We can put an admin noticeboard in the wiki, I guess, but it would be pretty redundant.

Admins patrol recent changes unless sometimes otherwise anyway. Besides, users can also notify admins on the talk page. Not necessary your idea is.

I meant why can't we make it where vandals can't graffiti the wiki in the first place?

Because that would also disallow newer editors to edit, and wikis thrive on new users.

It's better to deal with some vandal attacks than discourage newer editors to edit. After all, the edits made by vandals are usually reverted in seconds with the vandal becoming nearly immediately banned.
