Honey Queen/Queen Bee's Inclusion in the Series

Not everyone owns Nintendo Power though so you can't use it to prove it that it was the majority

I think she was a bit extreme and obscure. If something like Lubba was playable, people would be more happy.

Way to totally misuse the word obscure :P it's because nobody wanted her to be in Mario Kart 7 nobody requested it and because of her Waluigi got left out at least Metal Mario has the fact that he's popular and iconic and already an established character from Dr. Mario 64 and the Smash Bros. series all Honey Queen has is being a minor character from 2 games.

You base that on what I base my opinion on the fact that Metal Mario is the most popular newcomer while Honey Queen is the least popular therefore logic says that Metal Mario was more requested.
 
He wasn't requested. You should check out other gaming places prior to Mario Kart 7's release in prediction rosters. No one mentioned Metal Mario.

Metal Mario is a WTF character that people liked. End of story.
 
Yes, in short terms, Metal Mario was like a pleasant surprise.

For me, it sort of was. I didn't like the ripoffy idea, but I finally wanted to use a heavyweight for once.
