It's entirely subjective.
 
There's still majority and minority.

Most people agree that Daisy's voice is annoying as hell.

Loud for not reason , with a very obnoxious speech pattern.

This is perhaps why we're on the thread about unpopular opinions.
 
I don't really think that the ''don't care which one is used'' is unpopular though.

There's 99% chances nobody cares about this.
 
I've seen a lot of people complain about how her voice has evolved though. I think galacticpetey's opinion is a little unpopular, even though I too have that same feeling.

The first part is certainly unpopular , i mean if it was actualy true there would not be a recast for 3 times if they did sound that similar and nobody would complain.

The second is not, because while complains exists , it's mostly a very vocal ''minority'' i would say , at least in comparison to the average gamer that does not care about these details too much.

Most people that turn on the system to play the game do not get bothered by thinking about it , hardcore fans do notice and can get bothered tho.
 
The funny thing is, I could tolerate Rosalina's Mario Kart 8 voice better than Daisy's Mario Kart Wii voice.
 
I get annoyed at Rosalina's voice every time she speeds past me while going, "Wheeeee!" or whatever she says.

I'm going to guess it's because Rosalina's is a bit more sultry, while Daisy's was rather loud.
 
there's only 3 sounds Rosalina makes in MK8 that make me want to turn off the game.

I find it a complete DISSERVICE that out of all the characters, it is Rosalina aka the less annoying character ever , the one that became really annoying in MK8.

And yet it's that same voice that makes me like to pair Rosalina with the Biddybuggy. While not everyone likes that combination, I do find that it brings out Rosalina's cute side pretty well in Mario Kart 8.
 
Baby Rosalina is cuter and her voice is not annoying in comparison , and she is the freaking baby.

Still, I can't help but appreciate Rosalina's cute side whenever she says "Ta-ta" or "Farewell". Even the "See ya" quote can feel charming, as the way Rosalina says it can give you the impression that she has no hard feelings toward her competitors.

I will admit, however, that the "Wheeee" voice clip for Rosalina's anti-gravity trick should've been handled better, if not changed to something that sounds less hyperactive. Also, the cute side of Rosalina does not work well with the biker suit, or at least not for my tastes.

Those clips, along with pretty much all of Baby Daisy's sound clips, are the most annoying sounds in MK8.

I feel the same about Waluigi, yet no one I see ever talks about him this way.
 
I don't think Wario should appear as a playable character in any mainseries Mario platformer. He'd be fine as an antagonist or a rival, but he and Mario have such different playstyles and games they've appeared in that it wouldn't work to have him as a playable character.

Waluigi talks with his nose , he doesn't really yell.

But it can be annoying if you don't like that sort of thing
