Should Waluigi have his own video game?

Thats it. It says "Purple Prizes" at the top.
 
"Waluigi was rumored to be a playable character. This all started when a page called "Purple Prizes" appeared in the 2005 April Fools Nintendo Power. It said to get Waluigi you had to get all 150 stars and be extremely fast with Koopa the Quick (a character who races you in the stages Bob-omb Battlefield and Tiny-Huge Island), then a switch will appear in a random place that will make the blank door (the noiseless room with one of the Power Stars) in the character changing room a purple door with the Greek Γ symbol on it (the symbol on Waluigi's hat and gloves). Then it says you have to fight an unknown character called the Rabbit King for the key. There are other rumors about this black square/box that accidentally appeared and can only be seen on the castle's file select picture on the far right wall. They say you have to unlock the front cannon and aim where it is and it'll break, revealing a wormhole on Peach's painting that leads to a Waluigi painting. This is very similar to when Luigi was rumored to be playable in the original version and once again, the rumor was later proven false. It was eventually revealed that the black square/box was just a ledge where one of the rabbits was originally supposed to be, and that Nintendo just forgot to take the ledge out of the file screen. However, it is still a mystery as to why a purple rabbit appears in the instruction manual of the game. "

Even though I really don't like Waluigi as a character, it still would be sorta cool.

Did it mean that Waluigi is an unlockable character in 64DS? Though it doesn't mean to be a Waluigi game.
Like Wario, saving Peach isn't compulsory for both of them, so it's still not available. (Even though we don't know if the staff would make Wario 3D games)

Wario World Wario is (it sucked a little), respectively 3D games.
Because he wanted some cake, by the way, was to save the Peach Wario.

In New Super Mario Bros Wii, Mario shares the spotlight with Luigi and the Toad Bros. Does that make it not a Mario game?

Not to me.
Sure he shares the spotlight with multiplayer options, but he's single player and the main player.

Now I'm not trying to offend the fans of the other guys.

Well it gives moderate/rather good attention to Luigi and the Toads; however, it is still Mario himself who gets the attention. I usually see him and Yoshi being the ones promoted in most merchandise for this game (considering how much more popular these two are in comparison to Luigi and Toad). As MarioBros2 said, Mario's forced status as Player 1 in this game doesn't help much either. Of course, NSMB U does allow the first player to choose their character now...

That's just my thoughts.

Reply #56 said that Bowser is a guest protagonist in M&L games, same with that Toads are just coplayers in SMB series. And whether they're generic or not, it does make sense that many people want to save Peach.

Back to the topic, it does make sense to see Bowser's private life, while we dont know anything about Waluigi who is a spinoff regular. We don't know whether Waluigi's game can be good or bad.

With Wario? YES!
Waluigi is too Wario-like. I've said that with Mario and Luigi, but at least one of the latter two is afraid of ghosts, something that worked as a game. Nintendo would have to make a game or release new content that expressed Waluigi's new feature before anything could be done.
 
No... There should be a new Toad game first.

Waluigi should get into a Wario game instead. He is not that very important right now and isn't too interesting in my opinion.

Waluigi is just like Luigi, except for the basics. Luigi really doesn't have major games that is solely his. Very often he's in the spotlight (or more of standing near the spotlight) with Mario. Waluigi is pretty much the same in that respect, because Waluigi [does not] have a game that is solely his, and his partner-in-crime (or, moreover, the leader or more popular, for good or bad) has the spotlight and the games.

Luigi: Luigi's Mansion and LM:Dark Moon (any others?)
Wario: WarioWare, Wario's Woods, Wario is Missing, etc.

Never played it, but I heard about it and saw it on a different page in the wiki
 
Waluigi has never had his own game. I think we should at least give Nintendo 1 try at a Waluigi game. But I also think they should include him in Warioware.

Well, like saying before, it would come out that you have to show fairness by giving everyone a game.

Anyway, we have to consider if they can make something original to Waluigi, while DK and Wario have things to do in other cities. I can agree with that it's weird to see his "best partner" doing nothing with him.

Should Wario's Woods even count as Wario's game? The only association he has with it is the name when it really was Toad's starring role (though sadly Wario does seem to get the credit).
