The Spongebob Squarepants Movie game on Ps2 was actually a great platformer.

while I don't care for most of them, there are a few that I did kinda like. (such as the Spongebob movie game that Awesome Koopa mentioned and Shrek 2)

You mean movie tie-ins? The title 'movie game' is being used these days to refer to games that resemble films with only a few interactive segments here and there, which is extremely dumb.
 
Honestly, I think the Tales Series in general is underrated. I'm trying to get Tales of the Abyss for 3DS, but I can't find it anywhere.
 
All I know is that Tales of Symphonia annoyed the hell out of me. I've heard Vesperia is way better, tho.

I thought you liked the game. I remember you were talking all about it a few years ago.
 
I gave it a second playthrough and quickly grew bored of it. I soon realised the story actually made no sense whatsoever, and I pretty much already hated all the characters from my first time playing.
