The official "Hi, I'm new here!" thread

Hi everyone. My name is Ghost. :)

I've been playing video games for as long as I can remember. Super Mario All-Stars and Super Mario World are some of the first games I ever played, along with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasy VII, the Resident Evil games, and the Crash Bandicoot games. I've owned every Nintendo system at least for a little while, except the Virtual Boy lol. I own a 3DS XL and Wii U now.

I really like anime. Dragon Ball Z will always be my absolute favorite. Other favorites are Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Death Note, Yu Yu Hakusho, InuYasha, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Case Closed (Detective Conan), Code Geass, and a lot of others. I also am learning Japanese! It's hard but it's fun!

I have been on forums in the past but I haven't had a great experience with one in a while. I don't have any friends in real life who like to play 3DS, Wii U, or other Nintendo systems. They'd rather play CoD or Madden. It used to be that every kid played Pokémon and traded and battled with eachother. Not anymore. I just want to meet some friends that have the same interests. I'm not really motivated to play my Nintendo systems that much cause I have no one to share those experiences with. Hopefully, I can make some friends here and have fun. :)
 
You should fit in fine here, especially since I'm a ghost (for now)

We talk plently about Mario, gaming, media, and pretty much anything.
 
oh yeah yeah
we talk about games, movies (we actually have movie night which i'll be hosting unless someone ninja's me)
Mario just is not a hot subject
