I'm new here, but not new to Super Mario Bros. I am a bit of an older fan. I was part of the 'Mario Mania' craze of the late 80s and early 90s. I haven't played the games in ages, but I still retained an enjoyment for Mario.

I like hiw the Mario franchise manages to hold up with each generation. I do enjoy Charles Martinet, but I identify with the late Captain Lou Albano, Danny Wells, and the ither characterizations of my youth. To me, Mario and Luigi are Italian plumbers from Flatbush, Brooklyn, but that's the beauty of the franchise. Shigeru Miyamoto intended for his characters to be how we think they should be.

That's probably why it's still popular. My handle is based on a character I made years ago, She was meant to be a younger sister and met up with the 'puffballs', Caution and Spree. Puffballs resemble furry balls with rabbit ears/tail, and large eyes. They have feet, but lack arms and appear to use items via telechonesis. Caution is female, pink, and an aggressive bounty hunter. Spree is blue, male, and a magician. He is the calmer of the duo.

Just thought I'd introduce myself seeing as I'm new here. You can call me RareMan7. It's also cool if you want to call me Brendan, which is my real name.

I'm a proud Canadian with a passion for gaming and an overall love for Nintendo. My favourite games of all time include Banjo-Kazooie, Tales of Symphonia, Super Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, the Super Smash Bros. franchise, and a ton more. I'm also a big music listener, and I play classical guitar!

Nice to meet you! I chose this avatar because Toad is by far my favourite character in the Mario universe. There's something endearing about an adorable humanoid mushroom, what can I say?

I've decided for my 10,000th post(!!!) that I'm going to finally "introduce myself" in this thread. BTW, sorry for the double post.

June 2014: Hi, I'm Lumastar. I've known of the Mario Wiki for a while, but I didn't join until recently. I thought about creating an account before, but I did not do so until today. I actually came soon after Sakurai posted the pic of the Mushroom Kingdom U stage in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U to edit the pages involving it. I have recently joined this forum to apply for The 'Shroom [I didn't pass at the time, but I'm going to try again anyway.], but while I'm here I might as well hang around. I hope to one day become a notable member of this community. I hope to see you around!
