I like Mario, Zelda, Sonic, Rayman, Kirby, Animal Crossing, Mega Man, Pikmin, Pokémon, SSB, and EarthBound.
You are my new best friend.

Greetings all.

I'm the guy who goes by Lord Grammaticus on here and many other wikias. I believe I joined this site around... early '11, methinks.

Mario was among the first games I've owned (SMBDX, to be precise).

Anyway, I decided after 3 years of on-off activity that I may as well foray into the forums (if that usage is even correct), so... here I am.

Hey man.

You probably know me more as Yoshi876.

Welcome!

I'm not very active on the wiki, but if you see a user titled "Soundless Voice", that's me. :)

hi man, welcome to the forums
and ltq, he just mistyped, of course were not wikia

Sup it's me Rugia/Satotaku I hope you're all having a great start to your year. About me eh? I guess I could take a minute or two away from watching anime/playing video games for a proper introduction but only because you asked so nicely

I am Rugia I enjoy Video Games of all genres there's pretty much nothing that I won't give a try atleast once. That being said I lean more core than casual. My favorite franchise ever would have to be The Legend of Zelda for it's sense of exploration. I am a let's player on YouTube so maybe I should get on to doing a few Zelda games on there. Ya know if I wasn't so lazy.

As I stated before I love me some anime, here's my current top 5 for your perusal. (ALWAYS SUBJECT TO CHANGE)

1. Bleach (yeah way too obvious a pick at this point)
2. D-Frag (I am really enjoying this as one of my new favorite animes of the season)
3. One Piece (overated Pirate anime #1 you say ? well I think the fact that it has 500+ episodes speaks volumes for how good it is)
4. Code Geass (my Geass to you is this stop what you're doing and watch this amazing anime I Rugia command it !)
5. Clannad (yes I am a guy and yes I cried like a damn baby, but I think that no matter what genres you're into you shouldn't pass this one up.)

I also love video game music, my favorite tracks in no particular order! (I don't make you pick which child is your favorite)

1. Stickerbrush Symphony
2. Fear Factory
3. Ballad of the Windfish
4. Stickerbrush Symphony from DKL2 (it's really quite different so don't judge me until you give it a listen for yourself.)
5. Spreading your Wings from The Last Story.

So yeah you now owe me as I just so graciously gave you 30+ minutes of my time to give you a proper introduction.

Welcome, Rugia!

I'm Rin, and I love anime too! It seems we have slightly different tastes in anime (I tend to just like girly stuff mostly.. And Hetalia...), but it's cool that you're a Let's Player. I'd probably do some let's plays if I had the right equipment (I don't have a computer).

Either way, welcome to the community! ^_^

I'm looking forward to the upcoming reboot/remake. Yes I used to watch it in Toonami ! :bowser:

well then i'll think we'll manage to get along just fine
although if you ever decide to watch the original again i would reccomend watching the japanese versio with subtitles, the level of quality is much higher

Dragon Ball is the greatest anime/manga franchise ever.

how many episodes of dragonball are there
i might consider watching it, but apparently it takes like 100 episodes just to finish a single fight so idk

dragonball is pretty long on its on, think somewhere around 100 for dragonball while dbz has over 200.

It's good if you like action anime and well fighter drama and just really over the top stuff.

The manga is generally better but the dragonball anime is still good and dragonball kai is more accurate then the regular anime version, also much shorter.

It's not a bad series per say but it takes some patience to watch it all.

It's not even close to that bad it's like 6-7 episodes for a really important battle, DBZ is the major offender in that respect you can spend a whole episode just having someone transform.

Which is why Dragon Ball Z Kai is a godsend. It's the Saiyan-Cell Games sagas in 99 episodes. It removes the filler, picks up the pace, has much better voice acting, and now uses the original Japanese score. But people hate it because it's not what they grew up with.

which is really weird, i liked kai a lot better then the regular versions, but ive seen that crap before when it comes to people that dont like it just because its not the original.

Although the best version of dbz and even kai is the abridged version.
