Should Rare come back to Nintendo?

Still, why would Rare let Retro profit off of their series? They aren't using them anymore because Microsoft thinks that they are no longer relevant.

Here's an idea. What if Retro makes an original game series that's just as enjoyable as Banjo?

That'd be amazing. And it'd increase Retro's reputation even further if they developed an all-original game on their ownc that was good. Though to match an entire franchise takes years or at least more then one game.

They hinted about a 3DS game called Banjo-3dsie.

Rare later hinted, in responce to a question asked durring one of their "mini-scribes" that a Banjo-Kazooie game would be made for the Nintendo 3DS with the pending title Banjo-3dsie. Though nothing about a new game in the series, much less any games at all being released for the 3DS, has been mentioned by Rare since.

So it's not guaranteed, as they mentioned it just once, but I'm still hopeful.

It better be true and if it means they're coming back to Nintendo you know what Microsoft can do?

Rare still makes games for Nintendo handhelds, as part of their deal.
