I thought you did since the last time I invited you to play in xephfrag and I told you we were playing MVM and you didn't want to go.

Also I usually don't play MVM on the MarioWiki server unless it's a legit game and not Groden spamming his rocket heavies and rocket snipers

MvM is out of the question because this is a competitive event. We all can decide what to play, but CTF would be too one-sided and MvM is a cooperative game type, unless we were to do something like speed-running or seeing who can last the longest in Wave 666. So that leaves us to play Payload, 5CP, A/D, and possibly KOTH.

You are in the others team in Highlander, so Spy it is. If you and MCS play at the same time, either you will have to play something else or MCS can play Demoman.

same here except if my pc is still slow on christmas break.

A reminder because people keep saying their 6v6 choice, the veterans are the ones in 6v6 restrictions, not the others. Stooben is the Medic, TheFreshPrince is the Demoman, I am the Pocket (protects the Medic and leads pushes), Toadbert is the Roamer (flanks, ambushes, and back-up protector for Medic), and Martiniman and Uniju are Utilities (usually Scout, changes class for strategic reasons). Everyone signing up is on the other team, the veterans are already decided and agreed.

I could be either Demoman or Spy. Pyro too if you have a slot open for him. Any one of those'll work.
 
Cool, I hope we can get some more participants, because this would be pretty fun. As far as maps go, Dustbowl, Gorge, Gravel Pit, Junction, Egypt, Goldrush, Badwater, Upward, Granary, Gullywash, Badlands, Nucleus, and Harvest would all be good maps. Dunno what the rest of you think, just trying to toss out some ideas.

I'm actually a bit nervous that 5cp would be unbalanced too, but I'd be up for giving it a try.

The idea is that there are 6 veterans, set to standard competitive 6v6 player restrictions (see below), versus 9 others, who are in Highlander mode (one of each class). This solves the issue of battles being decided by the amount of veterans on each team, and also puts up a good challenge for us both.

6v6 restrictions are 2 of each class, except for the following:
  • 1 Heavy
  • 1 Engineer
  • 1 Medic
  • 1 Demoman

Right now the veterans seem to be me, TheFreshPrince, Stooben, Toadbert, Uniju, and Martiniman. The others are literally anyone else not mentioned and wants to play. The reason these 6 players in particular were decided is because they ranked the best in the tourney, demonstrates their skill the most, and practices commonly. Please no drama about the selection.

Does this interest anyone, let alone 15 people?

No restrictions. I am aware this will cause some problems due to the lack of random crits, but whatever, we did it with the awards and nothing bad happened.

Also, what class would you be most interested in playing?

LN1 also wanted Engy, and MCS/MM64 wanted Pyro, though those two had other classes. I'll mark you as a Pyro and backup Engy.
