Just in interest, what did you get from the cauldon?
I got the seal mask (which I don't equip) and Milenium key B'ankh which I do equip.

Most people played TF2 last year where we got a cauldron, everyone gets a seal mask and a random Halloween costume piece.

Maybe I will get one from drop some day. I'm trying to get junky medic items from drop so I can make a medic slot token so then with my secondary class token I can try and craft one as there is a 1/3 chance I get the one I want.

Quick fix can be okay if there's another medic with one of the other two mediguns. You can kinda be the backup medic, trying to aid the fight while healing people the primary medic can't get to very quickly.

You know, I just realized: In Meet the Heavy, the Heavy says it costs 400,000 dollars to fire his minigun for 12 seconds. And...the game's been out for 5 years and he's been firing it practically every day on dozens of servers. He must be richer than Bill Gates.

Or maybe Mann co. financiates his ammo. Or maybe there exists such things as ammo packs which magically reappear after a while and resupply lockers or ammo from enemy weapons.

Do not craft weapons, it is a massive waste of metal. Make a scrap and try to trade with someone who has one instead.

Anyways, people, keep in mind that every non-stock item is not a direct upgrade. There are a few, like the Axtinguisher, Degreaser, Escape Plan, etc. that are much more useful than the stock one available, but when it comes to primaries and secondaries, the default is often the very best. Many experienced players stick with the normal Minigun, Rocket Launcher, Sticky Launcher, Scattergun, and so on, because they are less situational. New weapons are fun, but do remember you do not need them to be good.

I really want a krieg. I don't care for a quick fix though as you can't overheal.

I can drop you a kritz if you want. Should be on sometime in the late afternoon tomorrow.

QF is also useful if there is a rather aggravating pyro looming about, but falls short to sentries and etc. Most upsides to the QF are heavily overlooked.
QF also pairs well with another kritz medi, you pocket the kritz medi and give healing when needed.

It is very fun if you have a coordinated pocket Soldier or Demo to fly around with, but that is rare to do without a friend.

I have 2 lovely solly friends to jump around with. It's hard to coordinate, and you can only really jump once. :L

one's a UGC steel ranked, and another is on a 6v6 team somewhere
