Some are cool and some are stupid.

but I think some of the cool weapons are swords and warhammers.

honestly I think kind of some weapons are lame like the Bo Staff.

It's a kind of Japanese spear that has a two-foot blade on the end, so you can both slash and stab with it. Pretty nifty.
 
Let's not forget the complicated but devastating weapons like the Trebuchet.

or even the most simplest weapons like the Sling (only requires anything in your hand like a rock)
 
I use the Scattergun, the Pistol, and the Fish.
 
there will never be a cooler weapon than the catapault
 
I've always liked the bow and arrow.

Scimitars are pretty cool.

japanese swords aren't simply called katana by just being japanese.

their name depends on how long they are or some shit like that.

these are the names of the japanese swords.

  • Nodachi, Ōdachi, Jin tachi: 90 cm and over (more than three shaku)
  • Tachi, Katana: over 60.6 cm (more than two shaku)
  • Wakizashi: between 30.3–60.6 cm (between one and two shaku)
  • Tantō, Aikuchi: under 30.3 cm (under one shaku)
 
I prefer improvised weapons. It's unexpected and funny seeing someone win a fight with say wind shield wipers, bathroom cleaning supplies, and spoons.

im japanese and id like to clarify that this is false

they are all referred to as sticks of honor, or if you wanna be fancy, honorsticks

theyre popular in canada and one of my personal favorite weapons

bow and arrows are pretty neat too
