Speaking of cosplay, why is it that when a girl cosplays as a guy, people don't give a damn, but when a guy cosplays as a girl, even something like Samus' power suit, damns aren't just given, they're force-fed.

Well, girls can go fine as boys because they don't look like total idiots in boy clothes and with shorter hair.

Boys look like complete idiots in dresses and (sometimes) long hair.

I'm aware of how late I am in responding to this, but I wonder if you're aware of what a fucking snob you sound like. Boys having long hair is not exactly a new, shocking, rebellious fashion.
