Mario Party 9

He's overthinking this. He just said that.

Anyway, I would love classic minigames to come back. Oh, I would love to see Look Away again.

Merry Poppings and Sky Survivors should return!

I also liked it when there was a ton of items at a time to choose from the shops in Mario Party 4. In Mario Party 6 and forth, you only have three at a time to buy.

Genie Lamp>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>All other star transporting items combined

The genie should return too. As a muscular man, not some wannabe Wario.

The fat genie is still a million times better than the wiggler and the star pipe

Buying a star using a lamp=50 coins (30 for the lamp, 20 for the star)

Star Pipe (MPDS)=15 coins (only for the Star Pipe, star is free)

Wiggler Capsule (MPS) 20 or 40 coins (don't remember which, but both are still cheaper than using the lamp)

No, you have the wrong idea. The genie has an awesome cutscene where he takes you to the star where the others are simply boring. Besides, I love it when computers buy a genie lamp, but they can't afford to use it the next turn.

I like the genie due for aesthetic reasons, not for strategic reasons. I like spending in Mario Party anyway.

Anyways, do you guys think that car thing might be a permanent board feature? It looks really odd and something that fits more of a minigame (though I have no clue how it works). Additionally, I wonder if there might only be one board because the game seems based only on nsmb wii. I'm hoping I'm wrong about this, but I just can't help but notice this fact. :(

I hope the car thing is only in one board. I like seeing people separate from each other. And the game is still early in development, so the NSMB parts may be only part of the game you are seeing.

I want the game to be based on Galaxy partly. Whittles are one step.

I think the car is actually like a story mode or something. It's the only way I can see it.

Then how come there are multiple players.

Wait, we might have co-op story mode! Yes!

I think the car's a different mode than story or party mode altogether: If you look, there aren't Bowser/? Happening spaces, just normal red and blue spaces.

No Bowser or Happening Spaces? This has to be a different mode!

The happening spaces could be in one invisible spot.

But why would everyone be together and break MP Tradition for just one board? It HAS to be a different mode, it would explain the small board to play on.

That's a good explanation, but we're not sure.

Magic Lamp in Mario Party 3, just required you to pay 20 coins.
You still have to pay for the star once you buy a Star Pipe, at least from what I played. :P
Wiggler is like the Magic Lamp on MP3.

I hate the Car Idea, maybe as a optional mode it would be good but definitely not like that for the Boards. I also saw VS Spots, so I think it would be a Story Mode board, like MP5's but with other enemies. The Minigames look fantastic to me but it hardly showed anything :/

The Car could be just a story mode, or another mode, along with duel, teams, and everyone for themself

Also, it may not be co-op. Those others could just be CPUs
