Who's your favorite Portrait Ghost from Luigi's Mansion?

Anyone ever manage to get gold portraits for most of them? I very rarely did, what did u need to do anyhow? Is it based on time?

I got gold portraits for all of them. For the normal portrait ghosts, you need to drain at least 90 HP of their health in one turn to get the big pearl, which gives you the gold frame. For the major boss battles (Chauncey, Bogmire, Boolossus, and King Boo), you need to have at least 80HP+ after the battle, which is near impossible with Boolossus.

Honestly, I suggest you wait until you beat the game and get the Hidden Mansion if you want to get all the gold frames because the vacuum is more powerful. The only boss I would recommend going after on normal difficulty is Boolossus.
