NSY, why do you even care? People can play whatever games they'd like to. That's their business, and you shouldn't meddle with it. Also while I don't like Minecraft at all, I can definitely see that it has an audience, which it has. I mean, just look at how much money Notch, the creator of the game, is making on it. He's making ridiculous amounts of it.

In my case, because I'm at a university and all, it's even rare to find people who play games at all, let alone the games I play and want to discuss. That's why I am on these forums and other forums, to discuss things I know I'd never be able to discuss in the way I'd like to IRL.

I don't like it. I feel it's overhyped like COD. Terraria's more fun to play ... heck.. photoshop is more fun too (I compare it with that because most of my classmates only play minecraft to build complex things with their cheatz)

You can build complex things without cheats: Just go into Creative (basically free-build) mode

And at least Minecraft doesn't have blood and shooting

My classmates were talking about shooting people's faces off in class
