Pokemon X and Pokemon Y

Ooh, nice. I only need one if you're willing, and I'll be ready to trade at some point today.

EDIT: And then I just got some active Pokérus so I probably won't need it any more.

Finally maxed out stylishness, cleared the Looker thing and got the Hatching O-Power finally. Just need to catch Zapdos then I'm done with the main things.

I'm around Dendemille/Frost Cavern atm. Kinda addicted to (ab)using Wonder Trade, hehehe. Only accepted 2 PSS battles; lost 1, won 1.

I decline most battles with strangers since they're always at bad times because I often have a HM slave with me or am training Pokémon.

And for some reason, half the people I use my O-powers on to level them up try to battle or trade with me. If anything, they could just say Nice or not react because I'm not interested in either battling or trading with them.

Well I just tried to take on La Reine and yeahhhhh, not a good move. Much better defeat than vs. Trey (Battle 1) and more intense than vs. Carlos (Battle 2).

Why not use the battle box?

So, I wonder traded a just hatched Chespin, and got a Whismur. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I mean, i can get as many Chespins as I please.

I could've sworn you couldn't use it for PSS battles, because even if you have nothing in there, you'd see the option if you could use it, since that's what I saw for the Battle Maison.

It's pretty unclear but you can use battle box in PSS. You need to accept the battle and when it says to select your Pokemon, choose Battle Box instead of party.

Though annoyingly I usually have half my team in my party and half in PC which makes it useless for me.

Oh, so you can. That's really good to know, since even with a team of Pokémon in the Battle Box, I'd have seven Pokémon at my disposal. Wish I knew this earlier.

will be leaving for uni on the weekend, so only have a few more days of Wi-Fi available on my 3DS. Nice try, Lily, w/ those 3 legendaries trying to panic me huh. Battles fought: 4; won: 2

I should have really saved Xerneas and Mewtwo for the dragon one you had last.

That was a typical one where if they manage to knock out the heavy-hitters the team is gone imo. You killed poor Smasher, so Doomy had to avenge him AND Gamma. I need to find a way to counter water better.

I have the exact same issue
I muddle on though as Xerneas knows thunderbolt.

Okay, if you can put a pokeball inside a pokemon, could you put a pokemon in a pokeball and give the pokeball to a pokemon and put that pokemon in a pokeball and put that pokeball in a pokeball to give to another pokemon to put into another pokeball, or would the PC get in the way? I was thinking you could put a pokemon in a pokeball and put the pokeball on a pokemon while putting the pokemon in a pokeball while putting the pokemon in a pokeball to give to another pokmon inside a pokeball to only keep on pokeball on your belt so that your pokemon are like gatekeepers to your other pokemon, but I dont know if that would work because if there are pokemon inside the pokeball if that would pokeball the pokemon while maintaining the rotational velocidensity of the data in the pokemons pokeball without screwing anything up too much, because, I mean, pokeballs turn matter into energy and then compress it right? so why can we store pokmon inside pokeballs?

Translation: Why can't a Pokemon hold a Pokeball that has a Pokemon in it?

Can't believe it's already been a year since the announcement.

I still remember not hearing about it, and then waiting up like 5 minutes before it happened (by chance) and then read about it and was like "well, it's 5:55am, might as well watch it."

And I was so ready for a Gen III announcement, and then boom, Pokemon XY and Generation VI revealed.

Apparently, my body was ready to wake up in time.

I still remember Tumblr losing all their shit at the announcement, and how much I loved Froakie.

Oh, yeah, I remember my first impression was just "Oh my god this looks AMAZING!"

Also, Fennekin. Vulpix is one of my favourite Pokemon, so seeing ANOTHER fire fox as a STARTER made me squeal with delight.

So help a Pokemon noob here.

What's the advantages to getting a shiny pokemon? I saw one of Roserade, and I WANT IT.

And how do you even get them.

There really aren't any advantages to owning a shiny Pokemon, outside of bragging rights. 99.9% of the time, the shiny Pokemon that you'll encounter will either have a bad nature, or lackluster IV values.
