This game looks absolutely fantastic. I really liked Mario Kart 7, and this looks to be a direct and even much more improved and pardon the car pun but "revved up" more.

I bet the game's Rainbow Road is going to be quite interesting.

If no one has realized this yet, vehicle customization has returned; look at the wheels on the karts and motorcycles.

Nope. Bowser's kart and Toadette's kart are using the exact same body, but the wheels are different.

Kart Customisation was painful in Mario Kart 7, it took me a year to find the best Combo I can deal with.

So apparently one can share complete replays at Miiverse (Mario Kart TV), and 30s recaps are at the end of each 12p race. Neat stuff.
Doubt the replays stay at the servers forever though.

I already know what I'm organizing at next years Awards.

Does anyone else feel like they won't ever have a chance to try out the game? For me, Best Buy is not even close to walking distance from my home, and I can't drive either.
