Glow command not working?

...huh, I can't actually see it from this computer.

It's something computer-wise, but what it actually is, that's a mystery for us all to ponder.

He's either being an idiot on purpose or just didn't know what the glow effect looks like.

Okay, now I know the main issue. Some computers may not be able to display the colours necessary to provide the glow effect. For instance, I cannot see the glow at home half of the time (it strangely depends on the font at home...), but I can see it in school.

This is super weird.

So according to w3schools.com CSS-guide, the 'text-shadow' attribute is supported by all mayor browsers except IE.

Which is strange, seeing I saw it on school.
