Your current mood.

do you want to talk about it, or do you want to keep it to yourself?

Would rather not talk about it.

Although it's probably really annoying me constantly posting "im sad rip but im not saying why", it probably comes off as attention-seeking too, ugh. I'll stop, sorry if that bothered anyone.

no, no, it's okay. people are just interested as to why you would be sad. people are looking out for you, man. we at least know you're sad so we can keep it in mind.

horrible

to think nasty medicine after food would actually put me on the verge of unleashing vomit

actually, rather, to think I was right about something!!! much surprise

obviously penguins can fly now

It's hot and nasty here so I'm pretty tired and nasty right now.

My pet snake escaped last Friday, so I've been sad and worried about her all week - but we finally caught her this morning, so now I'm happy and relived instead.

I'm glad to hear that!

What kind of snake was it?

(btw, I'm frustrated. If anyone cares to know, it's mainly to do with eye-posing MK8 BL in Gmod)

She's a Sinaloan milk snake (the wikipedia page even specifically mentions that cages should be escape-proof, lol - well, hers was for 10 years, and now it's extra-reinforced since she's strong enough to squeeze past the initial fastening method).

Yeah, I tried to think of one too, but nothing really fits... or even, rhymes...

The whole thing's great fodder for Metal Gear jokes, tho.

Aww she's so cute! <3

Why are people so scared of snakes? If I suddenly saw a snake like that in my teacup, I'd first check if it's poisonous, but I'll try to be gentle with it. I can't say the same thing for cockroaches and spiders.

Also, my sister really likes snakes.

Hope you didn't lose too much sleep over it. I'm glad you found it because I... I had to deal with losses of some birds.

Religion, superstition, media and cultural transmission. Plus, in lots of places, most snakes are dangerous so it's good to have a healthy respect and wariness about them (i.e. here, if I see a snake, I pick it up; in South Africa, the only snake I touched was roadkill) - but then that can easily get blown up into more extreme fear.

Sorry about your birds - my friend lost her budgie to an open window, and I've had a few geckos escape without recapture over the past few years, which was always very saddening.
