User Trivial Pursuit! (BMB Wins!)

Re: User Trivial Pursuit! (NSY's Turn)

Again, I guess it's my turn.

NSY, trivial pursuit is all about how well you know random facts. Hence the name "trivial".

If you gave you questions you would get, then obviously you would get them.

I mean, others had questions that they had no idea about.

While this is true, it is mostly biased towards people who like similar stuff as NSM. It isn't exactly random.

True. NSM should look up random games he hasn't played.

And I'll take the same categories as last time. I'm staying away from the Video Game stuff because most likely I'll end up with some godawful game I have never played, while I am more knowledgable in Science, History, and other trivial things, which is why I'm good at Trivial Pursuit.

Re: User Trivial Pursuit! (BMB's Turn)

I would look up stuff on the video game categories if I wasn't so lazy. :P

Here are your questions. If he gets them all right, we will play for second (and after second, third and then the game will end). And BMB, I'm making them hard (at least I hope).

History/Geography: Who won the following Revolutionary War battles: Battle of Yorktown, Battle of Trenton, Battle of Charleston
Science/Nature: How many species of birds are there in the world. (approximately)
Wild Card: Which two people one "Best Actress" and "Best Actor" in the 2013 Oscars? (name the person and the film they won in as well)

Re: User Trivial Pursuit! (BMB's Turn)

Hahahaha, you got to be kidding, right?

Battle of Yorktown - Washington and the Americans, Battle of Trenton - The contiental army/American-Patriots, Battle of Charleston - British army.

There are approximately 10,000 birds.

Jennifer Laurence won best actress for...Silver Linings Playbook? And for best actor...daniel day lewis iirc in Lincoln.

A little iffy about the last one, since I was doing some homework during it, but the first I know becuase I'm in Advance Placement Social Study classes for crying out loud, and we were told about the bird in Biology as "the random fact to share at the dinner table".

Re: User Trivial Pursuit! (BMB's Turn)

First one would probably be quite easy to any American.

Re: User Trivial Pursuit! (BMB's Turn)

Anyway, I'll probably just end it since we already have a winner and I'm doing Magnificent Mafia now. Thanks for playing everyone!
