User Total Drama Action - Finale

User Total Drama Action (Week 6: Time to Gogh) - Seventh Elimination

With yet another challenge completed, yet another team is sent to the Gilded Reversinator Ceremony to participate in the elimination of yet another one of their members. After BMB had been the only one to win his challenge and two of the participating members not even bothering to complete a drawing, it was clear that the Moody Mushrooms would be the ones selected for this week's elimination. The frustration of losing yet another challenge had set in rather quickly for the Mushrooms as the Rupees cheered at their victory (one of them celebrating by launching a plunger at an unsuspecting LN1, leaving him with a circular imprint around his head area). The choices for who to keep and who to throw away should have been becoming more and more difficult as more and more of their players were sent off into the wild, but as the six remaining members of the Mushrooms took their places at the stage, everyone had already someone in their mind. It was an almost unanimous decision. Before they could lock in their votes, though, the host still had a message for the actors and actress in front of him.

"Just to remind you all, Smg2daisy and Shoey are unable for nomination since neither of them participating in the last challenge. Got that?"

Everyone didn't have much of a problem with either of them having immunity, though some were a bit disgruntled with the fact that Shoey got a free pass for the week. None of that mattered for the moment anyways; they were able to begin their voting, and they already knew who would be leaving.

"Smg2daisy."

Smg2daisy, despite being one of the only people who could have actually done something during the last competition, had been set aside by the luck of the draw. Nevertheless, she still gladly accepted the trophy, as if it could have actually affected anything.

"Shoey."

Some stray glances were tossed at him as the golden trophy was tossed at Shoey, but it was out of their hands. Shoey expertly caught the flying object like one would expect a true gentleman to.

"BMB. *toss* LN1. *toss*"

LN1 was also tossed an ice pack, and with everyone else receiving an item, only the two that were inactive remained: Rocker and Smasher.

"Without further ado," dramatically announced Reversinator, "the receiver of the final Gilded Reversinator Award and the final one safe for the night is..."

Like always, there was a pause to create tension, though it was quite unnecessary, all things considered.

"Rocker."

Rocker was ecstatic as he received the last trophy, but Smasher was already aware that this would be his fate. He didn't have much to be ashamed of, though; after all, he's already won the last competition. What was the point of him going through this one? With his head hanged high, Smasher walked briskly yer proudly to the Walk of Shame.

Hey thanks for the ice pack GD.
Seems like you're getting somewhat more generous.
Unfortunately, the pack was open, and most of the ice fell out and landed all over you, some even getting on the back of your neck.

Re: User Total Drama Action (Week 6: Time to Gogh) - Seventh Elimination

well

i wasn't involved in part of my redemption

but a big step has been fulfilled

here's a recap:

Redemption Plans for TDA said:
Part 1: Eliminate NSM for that long-ass first game: SUCCESS
Part 2: Get revenge on Smasher: Success, although not involved in decision like I hoped
Part 3: Attempt to form a successful alliance with *insert name(s) here*: Success
Part 4: Face Heel Turn: Success
Part 5: Take Reversinator to a class in which he learns what my name is: Forgot to bring blackboard, chalk, whiteboard, or marker. Do have a pencil, though.
Part 6: Sue the CHANNEL TDA is running off of instead of Reversinator as originally planned: Lawyers preparing the lawsuit
Part 7: Win TDA and yell "hi" about it: Not yet...

Re: User Total Drama Action (Week 6: Time to Gogh) - Seventh Elimination

Gutesh Fresh, NSM might try to get rid of you now for that Part 1.

And what happened with the votings was that when Reverse asked us to send out our votes, Smasher accidentally sent it to everyone saying who he was voting, and I responded telling him we all saw it, and then he was like "yeah, I don't have time for this, just vote me".

And now it's 5-4.

I believe there is one more competition before the merge. Maybe 2 if someone is brought back.

Meh, still got to heal my wounds.
Unlike NSM, who didn't get a generous bag and ice to heal his wounds.
Ice heals faster than time.

Partially that, partially the fact that I was busy pretty much the entire day, and thus didn't have enough time to write a decent story.

Re: User Total Drama Action (Week 6: Time to Gogh) - Seventh Elimination

I mean, I have a few options that you could work with.

You can a two-part (or one-part if you don't want us to do so much) random-based competition where Part 1 is where you have to go into a junk-yard out of like 10-20 locations (kind of like how Toad did in UBBW1 with the digging competition). The first team to fully assemble their kart will then move to part 2 (or end if you want to make it short). From then, you can have them race to the finish line (winner will get a small bonus), and they have to avoid obstacles by either moving to the left or to the right. Every obstacle they hit briefly stops them for a few seconds, and the fastest time means that they crossed the finish line first and won.

Or you can have the combination part of the challenge, and the teams have to randomly select locations/answer a question correct/solve a riddle to earn part of the combination. The first time to get their entire combination put together and use it wins the competition and immunity for their team.

And of course you could have where teams take turn robbing banks, and the players that still the most money for all the banks win the challenge. Each bank can hold a different amount.

Those are just a few options that you could do. I personally like the last one the best.

How exactly would the last one work out?

Well, let's say that we all have to rob a lot of banks since it is the Heist challenge.

You could either do just randomly select one at a time, but we did already enough of them luck ones, so I suggest this:

Everyone has to answer two or three questions about the subject, and everyone they get right will add a point to their team. At the end, the teams will have a certain amount of points (Max would be 8-12 depending on how many questions each person gets (as one of the Mushrooms would have to sit out)). The teams then select which banks they want to rob (out of 16-24 depending on how many questions each person gets) one at a time. Or, you could have the teams choose all the banks they want to steal from in the order in which they want to steal it and just do back and forth between the lists and if you need more info about that, just PM me and I'll PM you an example.

I mean, if you want to make it simplier, do the just randomly have people select random locations/banks and go from there.

The winner will be the one that gets the most money. Let's say one bank has 20 dollars, another has 500 dollars, one has 1,000 dollars, and one has 1 dollar in it, and you just vary them around. So, even if one team did really bad on one team, they could still have an equal chance of winning. But the more questions people get right, the easier it would be for people to get more money.

See what I mean?

does anyone else see the problem with a player coming up with the competitions

Hey, I'm allowed to make suggestions. I'm not asking him to use them, but he could maybe get some idea of what to do from the looks of them.

User Total Drama Action (Week 7: Grand Theft Junkyard)

After going through monsters, westerns, wars, prisons, zombies, and the horrors of writing a story, only nine still remained in the competition. The Moody Mushrooms still managed to keep a one-man lead over the Rowdy Rupees, but their absolute domination of the challenges had long since departed. Tensions were mounting, alliances were brewing, rivalries were forming, and the weeks, wins, and losses would only add more and more fuel. Who will succeed in completing this challenge? Who will be forced out of the game? Who will always remain a sore loser? There's only one way to find out.

*CRASH*

Another day goes by, and another overwhelmingly loud sound knocks everyone out of their sleepy stupor. A few were immediately shocked awake, but others were still left to drowsily roll around in what constituted for their beds. Which would have been the case, had they actually been in their beds. Instead, they soon noticed that their mattresses felt a lot more gravelly and pebbly than normal. A couple were unfortunate enough (or fortunate enough, depending on whether or not you're the host) to end up on the receiving end of some jagged pokes. Once everyone was finally awake, they were soon able to take in the full atmosphere of their environment. It was one of trash, foulness, and simple disgust. The junkyard was truly full of junk, filled with random garbage, some of which seemed useful, other that looked absolutely useless. The crash that had startled everyone awake had come from a huge trash compactor; in front of it was none of than the host himself.

"Good morning, actors! I hope you're enjoying your pleasant surroundings!" As always, Reversinator was peppy, energetic, and had a face that was entirely deserving of a punch.

"Seriously," cried LN1, "why? Putting us in a place filled with sharp objects in our sleep is nuts!"

"That's the idea!"

"You're insane!"

"And you're getting closer to losing one million dollars." That was more than enough incentive. "In any case, welcome to The Getaway! In this challenge, all of you are robbers trying to escape after robbing a bank and getting away with its money."

"Money?" questioned Gutseh. "Where's the mo-" It was at that moment that GD took the time to toss a sack filled with something that wasn't money (it was certainly a lot heavier, though it was helpfully labeled with "MONEY" on its side) directly at Gutseh, colliding with his head and knocking him off his feet.

"If I may continue... The two teams need to build a car out of the materials that are around them. Once you've found an item that you think would be good for your team's car, you must justify it for me, i.e. give me a reason as to why you think your car should have it. If I agree with your reasoning, your car gets an item added to it. Each car needs to have ten items added to it before it is allowed to make its escape. However, I am looking for one specific item that both car need. If your car doesn't have it, it's not going anywhere. The two cars are only allowed to share a maximum of five items between them. Note that there is no gas here, so don't worry about that.

"That leads me to the second part of this challenge: the escape itself! Since we have no gas, nor anything else that can be used to propel the vehicle, so teams are required to push the vehicles themselves. There isn't necessarily a limit as to how many times you can push the car, though you must wait for another action to be performed before you can push the car again. At least twenty pushes are required before would be able to make it to the finish line. Whoever gets their car to the finish line first wins the game. I've told you everything you need to know, so get to building!"

I'll try and explain this challenge a bit better outside of the story, since the narrative sort of muddled the rules. To start off, players need to build a car that has at least 10 items. These items aren't part of a list or anything, they're simply whatever items you feel could be used towards your car. If you can justify it in a reasonable manner, I'll allow the item. You cannot suggest items twice in a row; you need to wait for someone else in your team to suggest something before you can suggest something else. There is one item that both cars require before I will allow the team to move on to the second part. Without this item, you can't do anything else. Also, you can't suggest something that can be used to fuel or propel your car.

For the second part, players, after completing their challenge, must post Push or some variation of the word thereof to push their car. You are not allowed to double post to push your car further, but as long as someone else has posted something after your post, you can push. Teams need to push their car 20 times to win this challenge. I believe that I've covered everything, so ask me questions if you have any, and if you understand what to do, get to doing it.

Do you want us to use the QuickTopics?
You can use your quicktopics to discuss, but it only counts if you post your item plus your justification here. Also, I'm not asking you to strictly use mundane items as part of a car, I'm asking you to use whatever items you would think a car could use, so keep that in mind.

Re: User Total Drama Action (Week 7: Grand Theft Junkyard)

I'll be the brave soul to go first.

I suggest that we use a Mattress to use as the basic frame of our vehicle. It is wide enough for all five of us to use it as seats, as well as still holding our guys' weight. Plus, it's springy, so even though it ways a bit, it should still help absorb any shock if we crash or a part begins to fall off, or we hit a bump. I mean, if we used a huge piece of wood, it probably wouldn't survive a bump with the weight of us as well as the wheels and that bump would just split it in half.

Re: User Total Drama Action (Week 7: Grand Theft Junkyard)

Wheels. Why? Because a car needs them to move. Incredible, isn't it?

Re: User Total Drama Action (Week 7: Grand Theft Junkyard)

I'll assume you mean wheels. If so, pass.

Moody Mushrooms: 1 (Mattress)
Rowdy Rupees: 1 (Wheels)

edit: dammit cirdec i saw that edit
