My roster has Pikachu, the Trainer, Lucario, Zoroark, and Jiggly. I'm personally ok with all of these, though Meowth would probably be the one that would get dropped. (Although I'd personally prefer him over Mewtwo and Zoroark, he's just less likely)

Waluigi was because I needed another Mario spin-off rep, and Waluigi seemed the most probable.

Skull Kid was because he won the character poll sent to Sakurai.

I guess I could replace Chrom with Hector or Ephraim.

I wanted another Gen I Pokémon rep to have an equal number of Gen I and Gen V, so I picked Meowth because he's an iconic Pokémon.

As for Paper Mario, I needed another Mario rep, and Paper Mario seemed like a unique and fun choice. If you have a better suggestion, let me know (not Toad).

I don't really want another version of Mario to be playable (I mean, at least Baby Mario is a separate character from Mario, and he can represent the Yoshi series). He won't be a good representative for the Mario series IMO, especially when Toad and Bowser Jr. are there.

Roy debuted in Smash Bros, so I don't think "they" had much to say at all.

but many people stated that roy would be a totally different character, which he wasnt. Although most of this was from fans lmao.
 
well ive said it before id prefer a different character that was more interesting, plus mario already has a good chunk of characters anyway.

When I made my roster, there was room for another Mario character. If you have a better idea, I will consider changing.

Paper Mario was the best idea I had for a new Mario character. I don't want Toad. If you have a better idea, let me know.

Waluigi is a spinoff character.

Ice Climbers were old news too. What's your point?

I am talking about Bandanna Dee.

I don't like Krystal. Star Fox Adventures sucked.

I put in new Pokémon for the Trainer to balance out the number of GI and GV mons.

I'm a sucker for Balloon Fighter. I guess Takamaru has a better chance though.

And Miis are there for casual gamers.

Yes, someone who didn't appear in just Mario games and had their own games as well like Yoshi, Wario, and Donkey Kong Peach only had 1 game, and Luigi only had 1 game (well that was before we heard about Luigi's Mansion 2 but he's been a Mario character since the beginning), Waluigi however has always appeared in something with Mario so he is NOT a spin-off character
 
A spinoff of the Mario series is a series other than the main series. This includes RPGS, Sports, Kart, and Party.
 
The only one I can think of is Toad
