Magikrazy's roster

You can make a good moveset with any character in existence; they gave a freaking accessory a moveset

R.O.B.

That thing wasn't even conceived to be playable in Brawl.

Yeah, which is why the good moveset potential is and will always be a bad argument for any character who has a chance of making it in

And dropping characters will always be a bad idea

I think Paper Mario is actually a good idea. I mean, Mr. Game and Watch proves flat characters can work, Paper Mario's Final Smash could be Supernova from TTYD.

Paper Mario being flat isn't a major issue at all; we're debating over whether we need another Mario or not

Good roster overall apart from too much pokemon and paper mario isn't needed.
1. If I remove one of my Pokémon characters, there will be an empty space in that row.
2. Like I've said, if there's a better Mario character, let me know. I for one came up with a great roster for Paper Mario to make him not a clone.

B: Hammer
B>: Throws Goombario or Goombella who Headbonks tye nearest person
B^: Super Jump Punch (Ok, fine. One fucking move is the same! Shut up!)
Bv: Jump
Final Smash: Paperize

That's not the argument, though. I'm sure they could totally come up with a working, completely original moveset for Paper Mario but the fact remains is that it's Mario. Again. It's the same reason that I don't want the babies or Toon/Young/Whatever anyone in Smash 4. We don't need 2 Marios or Links when there are a plethora of other Nintendo characters out there.

Hell, why does it have to be another Mario character? Why not give some of the "lesser" franchises more spotlight?

I have an empty spot in my Mario row, so I need another newcomer besides Bowser Jr. Anyone have any other suggestions since adding Paper Mario would be a sin on humanity. Fawful, I have no idea how you'll get in as a playable character. Maybe an assist trophy.

I could put in Samurai Goroh, but I would have to remove either Ridley or Palutena to make room.

Honestly, I think Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon are perfect with five. Why exactly is a sixth needed when you could add something from different series?

If I remove Paper Mario, I'll have to remove one from each row. That means I'd have to remove:

K. Rool or Waluigi
Skull Kid or Ghirahim
Ridley or Palutena
Waddle Dee
Chrom
Meowth
Little Mac or Balloon Fighter
Shulk or one of the third parties

Not really, Mario only needs 5, like what Smasher said.
But if I have only 5 Mario characters, my box will become a box with a piece missing from it. I guess I could put a random slot there, though.

Check the op. It's slightly different.

Chrom is now spelled correctly.
I replaced Wolf with Villager.
I replaced Balloon Fighter with Wii Fit Trainer.

Yoshi is already an established Smash Bros. characters so I doubt they'll add Baby Mario onto his back, and then on Baby Mario's own I doubt it, but it could work, but he'd have all his moves would be from Spin-off.

Think about it. Yoshi is the only original default character not confirmed. He must be getting a makeover, possibly having to do with one of his two upcoming games.
