Mario MLB

This is what I think should be in the new Mario Baseball game if they release a new one...

I think there should be teams from Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Pokemon, Wario, and other franchises (Give a good mix of characters on there), as well as something that's never been tried before and executed correctly...Wait for it...Wait for it

Mario Major League!! That's right! Include all 25-man rosters and over 120 teams in the Major Leagues and Minor Leagues and stack them up against teams of Nintendo characters!! Ever thought about the possibility of Big Papi hitting a home run off of Mario's fire ball?? Or maybe Ichiro running the bases lightning fast for an inside-the-parker?? Or maybe unlocking legends like Randy Johnson and Nolan Ryan and strike out even the most powerful guys like Bowser and Wario with 100+ mph pitches?? Even host the game inside of REAL MAJOR LEAGUE STADIUMS...or just use the stadiums from past games.

Modes that could be in the game:
Exhibition
Season Mode (Fantasy Draft Mode or Franchise Mode)
Story Mode (2 different story modes: "Road To The Show" (Creating a player out of a mii and playing from all the way in Little League ball to high school to college (or skip this step) to the Minors to the Major Leagues, an RPG type mode similar to Mario Tennis on the Game Boy Color), and the Story Mode that is mostly based on Mario characters and building the best team in the world)
Arrange Team Mode (The Create-A-Team mode, where you can make jerseys, build a team, create line-ups and all that that is based on MLB Power Pros)
Tournament Mode (Regular tournament or MLB World Series mode)
Create-A-Player (Make one out of a Mii or create a player, edit attributes, all that good stuff! :D)
Create-A-Stadium (Build a stadium however you want, realistic or fantasy! Comes from MVP Baseball 2005)
Unlock "Goodies" such as playable Nintendo (or even third party characters) and Major League legends, playable legendary stadiums, stadiums and teams based in Road To The Show mode, alternate jerseys, legendary teams, World Baseball Classic mode, and more!

The starting MLB teams could be all 30 of the teams, then have the mario teams with the captains mentioned by the OP, and then you could unlock the following goodies that would become playable:

Goodies would be unlocked in a store similar to MVP Baseball 2005, and players unlocked would enter the free-agent pool for use in franchise or exhibition mode...BABE RUTH VS. MARIO!!!

All in all, this would be pretty much a Mario Super Sluggers, MLB 2K, MLB The Show, MVP Baseball 2005, MLB Power Pros combined into one.
So, what do you think??? Arcade and simulation into one, I think it can be done with Wii U, and 3DS's technology, do you?

EDIT: Nintendo would be able to make most of this happen, the rights that MLB signed to 2k also said "First-party publishers would also be able to make their own baseball games." Sure Pennant was cancelled in 2005-2006, but they should try again I think, and Nintendo owns the Mario franchise so they would be idiots not to look into this really...

I would definitely get this.

If I can strike out any of these losers with Baby Luigi, then I'd support the game

Give me more Mets unlockable players and you've got a deal.

It said you could add any legends you unlock to any team, if you wanted to put Nolan Ryan and Carlos Delgado back on the Mets, then you could do that...
You could even trade Nintendo characters to MLB or MiLB teams and be able to play them during the MLB season mode if you wanted to, as well as put Major League and Minor League players into Mario League season mode if you wanted to.

So you're saying

I could even play as

Swingles?

or

KOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUZZ

NINTENDO WHY IS THIS NOT A GAME

Yes and yes...Why not we flood Nintendo's email, twitter, and Facebook with this idea? All in all, you know what does happen... Corporations do put out what the people want.... :D

Nintendo is a bigger company than TakeTwo, if TakeTwo can get rights, Nintendo can too... Nintendo has the rights to make an MLB/MLBPA game happen, for some reason they choose not to... I guess you'd have to rename Road To The Show to something else I guess, but other than that there's no reason they would get sued I don't think...They'd have to pay a teensy bit extra for some of the legends, but even if they don't use the whole list, it'd still be an awesome game. :D

First of all, why would I want some prick like Delgado on my team?

Second, yes, I read the part about putting anyone I want on the Mets. Still doesn't change the fact that I can't play as Franco, Koosman, Staub, or anyone from the 86 team.

I appreciate your conception, I can only say it.

I don't say that's impossible, because Mario had played basketball with NBA stars once. If EA Sporst and real leagues would cooperate with Mario series again, we can see that happen.

The real major problem is that it could bother the ongoing Mario titles, obviously I mean Super Sluggers here. New original sport games can work well, but fans would complain about the invasion of existing games. For example, fans might rather get a Mona, Pauline or Gadd than additional Miguel Cabrera in Super Slugger. If you just introduce one or two unlockable/downloadable guest star like Sonic Racing did, complaints can be fewer.

If Sonic series didn't cooperate with Mario, honestly it's interesting to see famous Olympics stars in Mario Olympics.

I can think of exactly zero people who would have Pauline over Cabrera Super Sluggers.

Well, I don't really watch baseball...
What I meant is to retain the original consumers of Mario games. Unless the game also targets realistic sport game players so many baseball fans would buy it, regardless of how Mario fans treat it. For example, Mario Kart 8: vs F1 stars announced.

The premise is both baseball and Mario fans are happy to see a crossover between cartoon and real human style. I don't know how Nictoon MLB worked, but it's not something new for Mario series.

I said all current Major League teams, that would include Miguel Cabrera and then the Unlockable legends....
I don't think it would be too much of a hassle though, Nintendo has an engine already made (Super Sluggers), I think it'd be a 10/10 game and I think it would turn out MUCH better than the Show or 2K, or even Power Pros...I want to play a season mode super-sluggers style with nintendo characters and MLB players, most notably Andrew McCutchen, Craig Kimbrel, and Bryce Harper and then legends such as Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Hank Aaron... That alone would make it TONS better than even the Show... Nicktoons MLB was trash, it was a great idea, but they poorly executed it. I was excited to be able to play as Powdered Toast Man and Ren & Stimpy, but the controls were not only not that great, it just seemed recycled from the Bigs for some reason, and it wasn't good either... I think with Nintendo being a better company, Mario MLB > Nicktoons MLB...BY FAR....I mean who wouldn't want to see a fantasy version of Yankee Stadium or Citi Field or Fenway Park or Turner Field suited for Mario Baseball??? Real Life Major Leaguers in Yoshi Park, and Mushroom Kingdom and especially the Toy Field...Jeter beating Bowser at Toy Field...
